Foxy was at the Awards thing last night, hopeful JOC was there as part of the team, to share his part in our success, regardless of his possible future with us.

Matters nowt. Villa could have had a minus 100 goal difference and no points whatsoever. He played for Villa and JOC didn't.

Same as when Adam Johnson signed for City and was slammed straight into the England squad. Or Walcott when he went to Arsenal. Its not about how well you play...

Don’t read anything into that. I looked into the comment threads on that tweet, and person posting it was ‘over the moon’ about him travelling with the squad to Portugal and falsely presuming that must mean that he’s being phased back into the squad. Nothing ITK.

From what I understand he’s nowhere near returning; and there’s no indication that he’s even remotely in our plans for this season.

He's not the only injured/recovering player with the group.

we that's no surprise with how many forwards we're too crocked to play a month ago

as I said a decision will have to be close to be being made on if he will be able to return soon ...2 yesrs is normally the longest any ACL injury recovery is taken to diagnose

Yeah, they have barely posted a picture of him since he got injured and the tweet did seem to make a point about him being there.
