Didn’t look remotely phased by the occasion when he came on & looked to use the ball when he had it. Big season coming up for him, will be interesting to see what happens.
And based on the SUTV videos, he seems like he's grown in to quite a character behind the scenes. I'd definitely like to see more of him

I need to watch the replay on tv tomorrow. I thought he looked poor and very phased by the occasion. But not always easy to tell from the stands. Be very happy to be wrong. UTB

Seen him a couple of times now and can’t for the life of me understand why we don’t see more of him, especially considering other players that appear to be ahead of him
he should have started instead of fleck he gave us nothing and couldnt get anywhere near the city players its really sad to see how much he has declined over the last year him bash lowe and stevens have to be moved on this summer

flecks finished for me like billy father time has beckoned them in like a go cart rental , times up
Hecky has ear marked around 105 players according to the Athletic and other sites

It would be nice to see him being inadequate at least on one occasion before we got rid of him. ;)

I know we need to get rid of a lot of the squad but not 105 of them

The only reason for picking Norwood and Fleck is the enforced absence of Doyle and McAtee. The justification for starting at Wembley, against a very good side, is their long standing experience and big game temperament.
We were beaten by a better team on the day, not by our managers team selection or tactics.
I still believe Coulibally’s time will come.

On the subject of contracts, I have already had my say. (I’m sure Basham has another year), and we are fortunate if that’s true, because he can still function as second choice RCB, or he could fill a gap in midfield if needed. His attitude and professionalism is beyond price.

Extend any player who has the right attitude, and at least a good chance of filling a number 2 slot in EPL.
Why buy and take the risk on a player you don’t know?
We are hardly brimming with options next season whichever league we end up in. PL money will be apportioned better this time around, hopefully.

Hopefully the next few games he can be given some game time. No reason why we can’t rest Berge a bit. He hardly has a summer off either.

It's been winding me up for ages that he isn't getting any game time. I get him not starting, but he absolutely should have been coming on instead of Fleck. Every single time.
Why? Fleck has been coming off the bench and doing a job helping ensure we get 3 points
. But no, bring a guy in with 1 minute of league experience because he's bound to be better. In fact, why not just sign a homeless guy up because football is so easy?

I think it's pretty clear that Norwood and Fleck got the nod yesterday because we wanted/needed to be more solid than expressive through the center and fwiw, l don't think either of them, directly, had anything to do with the City goals. The responsibility for that falls somewhere else on they pitch.

Really like what I've seen of Coulibaly. Just want to see much more, he's calm on the ball, looks to be positive whenever possible, hasn't been overawed by any of the situation he's appeared in. Got a feeling he'll blossom next season

You obviously pick the players with the experience over ones who've hardly played. As you say, neither responsible for the goals and we held them for most of the first half.i thought Norwood did pretty well, considering.

I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing in Coulibaly. He's looked ok when he's come on in games but nothing more. I suspect he won't be here next season given his contract is up, but who knows with the lack of communication from the club?

I'm much more excited to see Arblaster given a go if we clinch promotion. See what he can do.

I wasn’t expecting him to start yesterday but he seems to get random minutes and then disappears again. He looks technically very good, passes the ball well and is very positive in his play. He is though naive and would benefit from game time but that’s up to Hecky. Arblaster is another that I would like to see more of. He had a full debut in autumn, played well, for a first start, then disappeared and then got injured. I really hope that once promotion is secure that we give minutes to these players instead of Fleck, Norwood, Sharp etc. we know what they can do

I'd expect to see the likes of Brooks and Arblaster getting more minutes. Coulibaly will depend on whether he'll be here next year.

Because when he's given the odd chance in the cup he looks good? He also started against Tottenham, so if he was good enough to be trusted against them why not again yesterday? Or multiple times in the league where he could have been brought on?
