So after the disappointing, though largely expected defeat at Fulham, today presents a reasonable opportunity to put things back on track. Mind you we've only won 1 of the last 19 visits in league matches at Portman Road. A repeat of the FA cup result would be wonderful this afternoon, and Ipswich have not won 3 consecutive matches since the start of this season....

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

Unchanged from midweek?

Unless Clarke is fit?

Need more use of Brooks as he returns to full fitness?

No easy games in this division, and to beat a team 3 times in a single season is difficult. However, if we are to make real progress as far as the play offs are concerned, these are the type of games we need to be winning. Defeat today, could see us slip behind the rivals above, and indeed a position, but only 1 as a maxiumum to be fair. So a win is the order of the day, and I fancy a tight 2-1 Blades victory with Sharp having a hand in both goals :)

Safe journey all, and....

UTB

Come on Blades back on top of things with 3 points and a handsome donation towards goal difference would be a nice bonus today!

Id been full of optimism but I’ve lost it since Chris’s rant. Loss IThink.

I think a draw, gonna say 2-2. It would be nice (and to bang the same drum as everyone else) to see Brooks get a start, if he's fit enough.

I think we should be winning this ipswich have been poor struggled past wednesday & despite playing reserves in fa cup still beat a ipswich team with 4 changes. & our team is alot better now with players coming back

Our kop should look like that, just red and bigger!

Last time i've fancied us away, we lost 3-0 both times. So therefore, i don't fancy our chances today.................

Don't understand that side at all. Firstly why if Duffy is injured Holmes isn't in the side and also why Brooks is on the bench and not starting instead of Ched who looks a shadow of his former self.

Looks a very negative team. Its going to be infuriating if we lose Brooks in the summer without even seeing him start 10 games for us.

Hmm

I'm not overly against Evans for Donaldson as the latter needs to pull his socks up.

I'm surprised Holmes or Brooks don't start though and Lundstram for Duffy makes the team look defensive.Which, is a bit odd, as if he was looking at it that way, could have started Holmes for Donaldson. We'll see.

Not shocked if it was 0-0.

Donaldson doesn't need to pull his socks up he needs shipping out ASAP. Never seen such laziness in a player before.

Quite like the look of that Utd team.

Evans has a point to prove and if we are paying him a wage then he should be able to come in when we need him too - that's why we have a squad. He will do well today I think.

We have just been bossed away at Fham and ended up on a bit if a hiding. Nothing wrong with trying to stiffen up the midfield by playing a more defensive minded lad who has a bit of height alongside the two smaller lads (Fleck n Evans).

We can judge at full time I guess but i dont get the negativity on here by some to that sufc side.

I would wager that Brooks will come on at some time anyway.
