so what is it? Our balls into the box are continually rubbish (not only this game) or we just don't have good movement in the box?

i hate to say it but if our players stopped waving their arms around trying to con the ref for fouls and got stuck in, this Ipswich team is there to be beaten, they are worse than us..... just SOMETHING, ANYTHING in an attacking way to win it

Boy are we missing Duffy?
Nothing creative at all. What a crap first half, and Ipswich look very beatable.

we are missing Duffy, but we aren't crap and have done the majority of the attacking. 54% of possession and most of it in the Ipswich half.

Ipshite are shite - we are just bang average and don't have the quality where it counts - final third.

For me this is where CW & AK have to wake up - away from home you to adapt - perhaps 1 up top and 2 no 10's to do the damage in the final third.

Absolutely nothing of note into the forwards to work with, not even scraps. It’s a poor pitch and both teams look devoid of flair. Brooks and/or Holmes on for me.

I have to agree, it's crying out for someone to get the ball down and run at them.... But, to single out Evans is wrong, he hasn't really done anything drastically wrong other than be playing in a game where the forwards are feeding off long ball and difficult scraps. The pitch isn't helping our style of play and Ipswich are being niggly and ugly, they're just trying to rough us up. They're definitely there for the taking, but it's up to us to actually do something about that rather than hopeful punts to the wings

United started off bright and in the first 14 minutes has three good efforts on target making the keeper make the save.O'Connell has to make a timely interception to prevent the Ipswich striker being cleared as Ipswich broke away. They broke away again and Stearman was booked as next to last man otherwise he would certainly have walked. It's been difficult trying to play the ball down as the pitch is of the old type and very heavy going in some places there is no grass at all. United continued to try and carve something f from midfield but it's been heavy going against what I would say is a poor Ipswich side United have edged it but must do more to involve Sharp and Evans up front who to be fair have tried to carve something out of nothing and a crafty back heel from Ched Evans nearly brought something from nothing but the defender just flicked the ball away from sharp. Maybe Lundstram off for Holmes or Brooks to add a bit of creativity in the middle could be the answer HT 0-0

Pitch is like a ploughed field.

We don't half miss some creativity in the #10 slot without Duffy tho

All we have got to do is win 0-1 , Middlesbrough are winning , Pulis has virtually guaranteed them a play off spot , Ched needs games , you cant expect him just to get up to speed . a shiity 0-1 will suit me , I am not bothered if its an own goal , just a shitty 0-1 and I will be happy !

You don't half talk shit.
are you watching this?? tell me what Ched Evans has done in this game that is remotely useful.... get fucked if you don't like the truth ! its not just me saying it pal, plenty on here saying the same

That should have been a penalty. He pulled him back. Perhaps punished for all the earlier diving?

Jeez, lundstram should have buried that rather than passing and it was a nailed on pen by the looks of my fuzzy ifollow picture... Could be one of those days!

why didn’t Lundstram tap the ball in the net??? That tells you something :#

the difference is...we try to walk the ball in the net...the Fulham's and Wolves and such at the top end...put it in the net then discuss it .....

so many good openings starting to open up and we should be in front against a poor Ipswich outfit

Lundstram looking lively this half. Midfield are dominating.

where is Colin Morris and Peter Beagrie when you need them?? so many chances to get good crosses in......just that final ball, now we are on top need to finish them off

We lack that final bit of quality and creativity in the final third and Brooks and Holmes are still both sat on the bench.

I love Wilder, but I don't understand this.
