Yes because they have proven their quality on numerous occasions. The only reason there’s such a strong anti-Ched narrative is because of the strong contingent of blindly pro-Ched supporters in our ranks. He has shown no signs of championship quality but some still harbour this disproportionate desire to want him to succeed. They seem unwilling to accept he’s not good enough. It’s odd.

Where have I used Evans as a scapegoat for the rest of the team?

I’m using him as an example of poor team selection for a must win game and example of poor recruitment and a complete waste of resources.

What would you do if next week we signed a lower league 2 striker on loan, someone who hasn’t scored in over 16 months, not scored at this level in 8 years and then started him in a game we need to win when we have better options on the bench? I’d imagine you’d be pissed off.
