To be fair to O’Hare he was the only one pressing which must be soul destroying when no one around him does the same. Plus he never stopped trying and was the only player who can say that.
He's soooooo weak though.

How long does it take him to line up a shot???

He buzzed about all night, but he never looked like scoring

Port Vale? We were all there.
You’re right - my poor memory- I getting mixed up - there have been a few landmark ultra piss poor performance - that was when Marcus bent had a shot and it bounced down rather than forward if memory serves me
(Have to try and remember what was the reading game with Lee Sandford)

This fucking great its the funniest thing I've seen in years 😆
Hammer on the bench 🤭

No but at least he buzzed around. None of the others did
Fair enough. I'll give him 3/10 for buzzing around a bit.

On reflection, he's up there for MOTM.

3/10 might win it after the way that shower of shit played tonight

Doesn’t sound like he’s about to quit.
No
Nobody does in football - strange world. In the real world (that we all live in) you can put people on performance management plans and get rid of them accordingly. Football sems to come with 3-4 year contracts and crazy pay offs for poor performance. He will linger for this.

O'Hare has been very poor this season, despite running about a bit. Selles' trusting him again, rather than going back to basics and really shoring up that midfield was another big mistake.

The board need to put him out of his misery tonight, you're right he does look devastated. He's not up to it, doesn't know how to change it and it's no more pleasant watching him stand there suffering than it is watching these awful performances his players are turning out.
Really great Chezzy you are talking about Selles in a humane way, not just using brain dead 4 letter words like so many imbeciles on here are !

Not a part of some kind of imagined Wilder cult, and didn’t think he got it right all the time, but he did get 92 points. Everyone outside of Sheffield thinks it’s mad to sack him.
And if it was time for him to go then surely you get someone who is objectively an improvement. For example, they’ve won promotion or the play offs.
Or got 93 points 🤣.
🤯

I just think he's failing but clearly not on purpose. His career is falling apart on TV with 2000 people (absolutely understandably) calling for his head. I've had times where I've been new in a job and felt out of my depth, just not in a setting that plays out in front of thousands of people.

I'm not defending him because the performances are atrocious, I just appreciate he must feel pretty wank about it too. The other option that's on the table is resignation and I also think he should do this, but how many people would give up a pay off?

Nobody should feel sorry for Selles… he’s lied in his job interview! Guys a total charlatan… he’s not anywhere near the level and he will rightfully be sacked after this result. If he had any integrity he’d resign quite frankly!
The worrying question is though… who recommend him in the first place??!!
So would Hecky and McCall if they'd a scrap of decency after the Newcastle massacre. Cowardly wankers.

You have to feel for Selles though. You can see that he's devastated. Almost looks like he has tears in his eyes. And at least he's not hiding from the fans.
Sorry but no you don’t have to feel sorry for him. I don’t advocate the personal abuse but from a footballing point of view, I don’t feel sorry for him at all.
He’s massively out of his depth. You can see that he probably knows that, so he should do the honourable thing, hold his hand up and resign.
