If there was one player (injuries decimating us aside as usual) I would want us to bring in in January it would be Ndiaye. He was the main reason w went up last season and he would give us a chance this one. Worst case scenario, he's would be with us next season to right some wrongs and rip the Championship a new arsehole.

Presume you mean McAtee, but I would also say Bogle can do that when he is inclined, and Hamer carries the ball well too.

Overall though, I agree that we tend to lack flair at this level.

So we are in the best shape we’ve been in for some time, with only 6 not “on the grass” in training. Of those 6:

- A Davies, Basham, Brewster and Jebbison would not be starting, and perhaps not coming on either

- Egan probably would be

- I’m not sure what Hecky would do if T Davies were fit. Hopefully we will find out at some point.

Of course there may be some surprise injuries after the international break.

Edit - I don’t count RND, for obvious reasons.

Of players who would start we are only missing Egan. Arguably T Davies I suppose. I don't rate him but he can't be worse than Norwood and Souza.

I don’t know, but it’s been 13 months. The odds must be very much against it.

Approx. 140 seniorplayers out injured in PL last weekend. It's a worry not only for us. Can't imagine it's ever been worse. The game has changed big time physically combined with more pace and more sprints. Never been as demanding as now to stay injuryfree.

Yes. Every club will get training ground injuries. Ours have been unusually frequent and common under PH.
