In other words, if the cost of dealing with it meant not buying one or two players each season which should we do?Agreed, but I don’t think it’s the cost of doing the analysis that’s the issue. It’s the cost of doing something about it - Nicky Janskys’ contact’s description of success on this challenge for a Premier League team included a head count of 100 people...can you see that at Shirecliffe?![]()
That’s the question, and it’s a tough choice. In other words, if the cost of dealing with it meant not buying one or two players each season which should we do?
I'm sure I've seen on twitter that mcburnie and club doctor on train to London this afternoon, is it possible![]()
Don't we do them locally, I'm sure even Leeds and Manchester have excellent medical facilities without travelling to LondonProbably for another scan.
Surely they'd drive down unless they are going for a few beers afterwards.I'm sure I've seen on twitter that mcburnie and club doctor on train to London this afternoon, is it possible![]()
No. The club do not employ a doctor full time.I'm sure I've seen on twitter that mcburnie and club doctor on train to London this afternoon, is it possible![]()

Not a chance. Bloke fell off a cliff several seasons ago and hasnt ever looked like regaining his form. On his day he were quality. He’d get absolutely ruined in the premier league.Enda Stevens doing ok at Stoke,he's captain and has played 7 games out of 14 he was missing for 6 weeks due to a calf injury he picked up play for Ireland.
His manager says he is fine and capable doing Sat to Sat games its when he has to do midweek games he gets the injury .
Should have kept him,the Prem fixtures would have suited his body.
Republic still think he has it to play against elite european players. Not a chance. Bloke fell off a cliff several seasons ago and hasnt ever looked like regaining his form. On his day he were quality. He’d get absolutely ruined in the premier league.
Aye, wilder did too. Look what happened there. He was terrorised by premier league opposition, never fit, always one second behind tactically and ran like he were in custard. Legendary on his day for us, those are sadly behind him imo.Republic still think he has it to play against elite european players.
How many games did he play last 3 seasons for us? How many were good games?Enda Stevens doing ok at Stoke,he's captain and has played 7 games out of 14 he was missing for 6 weeks due to a calf injury he picked up play for Ireland.

You dont get the point i am making the thread is about "injuries".........he moved away from us and suddenly he is playing regularly bar for the injury picked up while playing for Ireland. How many games did he play last 3 seasons for us? How many were good games?
He's done just like Basham, Norwood and Fleck.
But still picking up injuries every season, bet he gets injured again before 2024.You dont get the point i am making the thread is about "injuries".........he moved away from us and suddenly he is playing regularly bar for the injury picked up while playing for Ireland.
Or C) You are looking for confirmation bias?I didn't go into reading the article with an agenda of "Ooo, let's see what I can find to criticise Hecky." I read like it like I would any other article. It's just that as I read that bit alarm bells went off and that bit stood out to me. If you read an article by dissecting it with the intention of looking for something to suit your agenda then
A) You're mental
B) You need a hobby
What I get from this is that Enda Stevens has missed half of Stoke’s games due to injury, which is not remotely surprising and the reason why we didn’t renew his deal.Enda Stevens doing ok at Stoke,he's captain and has played 7 games out of 14 he was missing for 6 weeks due to a calf injury he picked up play for Ireland.

And Fleck and Osborn got a new contract........... because ?
You’ll have to reply using words. I don’t understand memes.
As I have already posted, these are players that Heckinbottom wanted as back up. Occasional bench replacements for one off injuries and an increase in suspensions due to yellow/red cards. You clearly don’t read my posts. I’ve been complaining about that decision since those contracts were signed.
