Hip hip...
Anyone who knows anything at all knows how effective choudhury would be in the championship
No, not based on one performance

Whenever i've seen him play he's dominated the midfield. He possesses all the attributes we are severely lacking in midfield. He’s played more cup games than league starts in the last two years.
25 in October, 16 league appearances since 2020 only 12 total appearances last season.
He won’t be cheap so what makes you think that’s he’s not a busted flush?
That's because hes at a top club. He is exactly what we need in midfield, would be a.great.signingHe might be good but I think a lot are rating him based off one performance in 2019. Since then he's not even played 15 games worth of minutes.
He'd be sensational as this season's MGW or Hendo!
YepAbsolutely zero chance of Choudury. A step down for him would be lower end of Premier League.
I haven't.seen anyone obsessing ,crying or assuming we would sign himYep
I'd say MGW was proven though, at our level. Nobody should be surprised by how he performed, just surprised we signed him - it was utterly bizarre to see such a player in our shirt
And ffs people should stop crying and obsessing over him. Was never ever going to sign for us without promotion
I think that's a bit of a shortsighted view on how you factor in effect. Yes, they both set the bar incredibly high (best loanees we've ever had IMO...) and yes they both contributed in two very noticeable ways - tightening us up at the back, and bringing goals and creativity at the top of the pitch. If you think Choudury, bare in mind he's a DM, would be as influential as MGW or Hendo then I'm not sure football's for you.
He'd be a great signing but there's absolutely no way on earth he has the effect either of the do!

You could argue we have a little of that now (in Wes' form last season, long may that continue) and we clearly need creativity up top and MGW would be beyond difficult to replace.
However, Choudhury would address another key area, shoring up central midfield, adding legs, energy and bite. Leaving us less prone to being turned over in midfield and less vulnerable on the counterattack. Our Achilles heel. His output would be less notable (clean sheets, goals) but his contribution would be to the system and you know we'd be the envy of every other side in the division if we were to get him.
To bad season kicks off on July 30th ... Last in the queue again ... it beggers belief.I'll check back here at end of August when we do our business![]()
How many other clubs have made signings ?To bad season kicks off on July 30th ... Last in the queue again ... it beggers belief.
I think there are those on this forum who are interested in his career after what he did for us.I'd say there's been a lot of concern about his future given that it's nothing at all to do with us and plenty of dreaming going on

Look its always better to be ahead of the game ... I'm not bothered about other clubs ... fact 7 weeks to kick off!How many other clubs have made signings ?
Cardiff have made 5, I believe Norwich have signed , or are signing Hayden from the Geordies on loan, WBA have signed Swift. Still a long time to go bit 2 of our biggest rivals have strengthened significantly. How many other clubs have made signings ?
Wow didnt realise WBA signed Swift, was destined for a newly promoted/lower PL club imoCardiff have made 5, I believe Norwich have signed , or are signing Hayden from the Geordies on loan, WBA have signed Swift. Still a long time to go bit 2 of our biggest rivals have strengthened significantly.
If Carlsberg did transfer windows Choudary and Gayle on loan, Twine as a permanent and a couple of defenders would do nicely for me.
Yeah, he’s only won four promotions from this league, what’s he know about it? Tactically dull but he always seems to recruit well.West Brom are my tip to be right up there next season, even with Bruce in charge!
Jed Wallave has been strongly linked with WBA too.Yeah, he’s only won four promotions from this league, what’s he know about it? Tactically dull but he always seems to recruit well.
It’s his MO. He tends to go to clubs with a bit of cash to back him and sign the best players in the league he’s in, from the smaller clubs. Did it at Huddersfield, Brum. He’s managed his career pretty well, generally goes to a club with enough money to give him a chance and fucks them off pretty quickly if it looks like they’re setting him up to fail. Loyalty? None whatsoever but he knows how fickle football fans are.Jed Wallave has been strongly linked with WBA too.
Nearly as boring as unattainable rumoursFact we signed MGW towards the end of the window and the vast majority of us have faith that we will get it right and even if we don’t continual bleating on here will not change things and gets boring
Depends if you are the biggest pull, with the deepest pockets. Generally the best players won’t want to join us right at the beginning of the window, that’s just a sad fact. They’ll want to consider their options and most of the top loan options will still be hoping to make the PL squads so want jump before they’re announced especially when pre-season hasn’t even started yet.Look its always better to be ahead of the game ... Jed Wallace likes a team to play four at the back (I've heard him say it). And he's a right winger.Jed Wallave has been strongly linked with WBA too.
