Yet we've turned down a multi-million pound bid for Jebbo. But people aren’t talking about age. They’re talking about is he good enough. Different players but Ndiaye was better. That might change in a few years but point still stands
Im gonna see your 10 starts and raise ya to 15 in the remaining 41 league games. Plus another 10 or so sub appearancesMaybe a more accurate way of seeing what people’s expectations are for ndiaye this season is to talk about the amount of game time you see him getting this year rather than projecting what he could grow into. For me him making 10 starts and being consistently in and around the match day squad would represent a successful campaign for him anything over that is excellent.
You need to watch some more games then. Was our top scorer and wasn't even playing as an out and out strikerYet we've turned down a multi-million pound bid for Jebbo.
Not many of the U23 games were streamed. From what I saw Ndiaye look a good player, Brunt was my MOM in one and Seriki was excellent. In one game (QPR?) Ndiaye was subbed after he was lucky not to get sent off.
Perhaps it's the Premier League scouts that need to watch more. Ndiaye would have been available for a fraction of the price of Jebbison over the summer. You need to watch some more games then. Was our top scorer and wasn't even playing as an out and out striker
At 21 no one in the prem would go in for him until he’s played a few games. Watch by January he’ll be linked with moves away. I’m not hating on jebbison as he’ll be some player but right now I’d be inclined to suggest Ndiaye would offer us morePerhaps it's the Premier League scouts that need to watch more. I’m not being negative at all. I’m delighted he’s been tied down and cannot wait to see him given a run in the first team. I just think particular elements of this new deal could have been handled better by people high up in the club. If you think he’s going to be a star, give him the deal and let him do his talking on the pitch. It sure does if you have to turn a positive into a negative
But they did for Jebbison at 18.At 21 no one in the prem would go in for him until he’s played a few games.
Maybe they’re scared off by the route that he has taken and fear that it will be hard to fit him into a system. Jebbison is far more traditional in every sense and they can see the potential and have time to work on him. Ndiaye at 21 and played 20 minutes of professional football is a bigger riskBut they did for Jebbison at 18.
Here's a short video with everything I could find out about him:
I don't touch the youth
I might get this printed on a T-shirt, just so as people are sureI don't touch the youth
Scottish accent........"Yah Dont win nothin wa kids"
I might get this printed on a T-shirt, just so as people are sure
My ‘I don’t touch the youth’ T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.
Looks like he’ll be involved tomorrow as not in squad for u23s today
