It wasn’t an extension, he had a contract for the same time frame with the academy so we couldn’t shorten his contract upon promotion to first team manager.

I’m fairly sure we had a mutually agreed termination sum in the contract so that Hecky was happy and we weren’t paying the whole of his new deal up.
