Can you imagine if West Ham do to us what they are doing to Wrexham the meltdown on here would be unbearable.
The 20 Wilder haters on here would be in a frenzied heaven.

West Ham are quite capable of beating us easily with the squad they have.

How about actually interviewing people properly?

How about spending time crafting a list of the most relevant things to ask in an interview, with the input of people who know the conditions of the club intricately?

Forget about predetermined appointments for a moment - have we actually thought about doing this?

If we're going to find a good coach from somewhere who can deal with the workload of management then surely this would be necessary

The next two seasons need to be spent getting rid of Wilder’s mates and putting actual experienced professionals in place ready for a new manager.

I’m going to be open. I’m a big Wilder fan, I’d never suggest he was the best football manager ever but I know that whilst ever he’s in charge we have a man making decisions with the future of the club in mind. I also know that any team he puts out will give everything, I would happily see him stay for the next 10 years.

I know there’s plenty who would like to see him go, I’m intrigued who those who would see him gone would want to see replace him. Who realistically could do a better job for us? not in this period of uncertainty

I'm certainly not in favour of sacking Wilder. At least at the moment. He is the man for us in our current situation.
I don't think he's the main issue.
The main issue is our current owners.
Look what happened the last time they sacked him!
Look at who They brought in then.
Look at where that left us.
If they sack him now They have shown They have no idea who would be best as a replacement.
They are the ones who have left him in the position of having to sell off our best assets. And leaving him in the position of only bringing in loans and free agents
Wilder has shown he can operate successfully with a decent budget. He has, in the past with us , and at other clubs shown he can operate successfully with limited funds.
Wilder is not the problem.
Should we get a 12 point deduction I can't think of a better man to keep us up.
If we don't get a points deduction, I believe he will at least get us in a play off spot.

That’s the result of over valuing the short term gain of the loan market . Letting players run down contracts and a very piss poor scouting system

Peck's face and Brooks/Serikis reactions n the "Wilder returns" video says it all. Peck couldn't be happier to have a drinking buddy back, while Brooks and Seriki knew they wouldn't be getting coached for the foreseeable while being chewed out in public at every opportunity.

Wilder greeted Peck like a long-lost son. Certain other players didn't get the same treatment.

I am leaning into the idea that perhaps most of his detractors don't have a high footballing intelligence - that's in no way meant to be disrespectful to anyone either. We all watch and follow the game for different reasons.

Well it certainly comes across as disrespectful.
Can you honestly say that performances so far this season have been acceptable? The experienced players CW has brought in come with severe limitations - none of them seemingly able to last 90 minutes. Formations & tactics have been questionable - we have recruited more DMs but still get run through far too easily.

I really hate this question, for the simple principle that nobody should ever be deemed as irreplaceable. Wilder absolutely is not this either, and acting as if he is is just setting oneself up for a significant fall whenever he does depart.

In any case, I think a serious option would be John Mousinho at Pompey. He got them promoted to, and has kept them in the Championship, on an absolute shoestring. And they play some very nice stuff to boot. He seems the type who wouldn't tolerate bullshit either, which would come in handy with all the nonsense going on with us at present.
