How many times have we seen teams comprised of players no-ones ever heard of waltzing away from BDTBL with 3 points without a care in the world? We've spent far too much time and money on players from the league higher clearly on their way down - what matters for me is not the transfer fee or wage-bill but the hunger. If you want to look at it one way, it could be said we're doing it on the cheap but it could also be said we're building a jigsaw and not just putting 11 players onto a pitch because we've heard of them before.

Yes. I could give two shits how good they are as individuals providing they perform as a team, successfully.

Oh FFS! Capital S to start the sentence and what's with the gap between the end of "tunnel" and the full stop? What is more,if we left it to MS "Word" they would be asking you to revise the fragment as there is improper use of the verb. "I will see you" is correct unless you revert to the Scottish vernacular, "see you" (Jimmy).

I swear that if this lack of signings goes on any further I am going to become the most hated poster on here by interesting myself in punctuation and grammar. Barmpot Boy prepare to lose thy crown.

Good post. Without doubt it's frustrating waiting for players to come in and people are rightly apprehensive and sceptical but at some point we will turn a corner. I've got high hopes for Wilder. Speaks sense and I back him 100%. Looking forward to this season.

This constant mocking of players we're linked with by the same few attention seekers is tiresome. Let's remember that Jagielka and Tonge were once kids who came in with no experience - and came in due to adversity (battle of Bramall Lane). Social media and forums would have mocked the signing of Paddy Kenny for £30,000 - turned out to be quality. Some players 'on the way down' have been superb for us in the past.

It's so much more than footballer's ability to get a team promoted, it's excellent man management, getting into their heads and encouraging them, making them believe - and I think it's evident Wilder has this skill in abundence.

Roll on Bolton.

While there are certain "larger than he used to be" framework issues I can vouch that Rodders is not CW. In any disguise.
