I must say, whilst moore did well for that goal his overall output has been extremely poor. I think trying to argue otherwise is a little silly. Lets hope he finds a bit of form though.

How is it silly? Statistically you’re proven otherwise. It depends what you are supposedly grading him on? He’s won pretty much everything in the air. He’s covered the majority of the opposition half of the pitch…..

Stats don’t lie…. Silly to argue them

I’ve spent the whole game watching him mis-place headers, passes and shots. Please share these stats you speak of and prove me wrong.

funny game this … we haven’t played well but we’ve done enough…

But we have not defended initial crosses well at all far too many balls allowed to entered the box

Brewster been poor … Moore is not the answer but that’s who we are stuck with up front

Souttar, Anel, Burrows, Souza, Cooper are the ones to hang your hats on this season … do the dirty unseen work really well

Been a very solid performance so far this. Not a perfect one by any means, but we're holding firm, and we've punished (a couple of) their mistakes.

If we had started any striker with pace, we would have been at least 2 up at half time, and nobody would be berating Moore as he comes on round about now to defend corners and hold up out balls as we see out a comfortable win
If only we had a striker with pace we can guarantee to score the goals.

I think slightly differently (although it might not happen perfectly with Moore), but i think have the big man on first to soften up the defenders and move them around and then bring the speed on after 60-70mins.

This might have happened tonight, but Hamers knock may have changed the plan with him coming off instead of Moore.

Its great how people see things differently

Team gets better each game, nice to see Seriki back as well, good to use as an attacking RB if we need to in games.

this hull manager wont last the season. he reminds me alot of nigel adkins alot of the ball but done very little with it. 70% possession 2 shots on target & yet mainly 1st half we looked far more likely to score

I don't think anyone is saying that Moore can't do what he can do, I think it is just a case of horses for courses, and the way that Hull play and line up is the antithesis of what Moore is useful at doing - and as such, when he's been put into positions where he can influence the game, outside of the one shoulder charge for the second, he's been woefully inadequate. That's more on the game planning than anything else, you need to recognise what is a game for Moore and what isn't, and this wasn't

If only we had a striker with pace we can guarantee to score the goals.

When you have a five yard lead on the last defender, as Moore did on the chance where we didn't even muster an attempt on goal, you don't need blistering pace, just some. Brewster I'm sure would have opened his account there, as would One, JRS or pretty much anyone else we could realistically play outside of the back four. Still, three points, let's move on

our worst performance so far, but thankfully Hull play suicidal football.

Can't actually think of a man of the match.. probably Anel or Burrows 🤷‍♂️

Nice to win on a Friday and enjoy the weekend. I was most frustrated at how we kept losing the ball at 2-0, but a good win.

Important 3 points. Showed an improved defensive resilience and looked fairly solid. Very industrious but wasteful at times, didn’t enjoy how careless we were in possession (broken record) but hopefully we can improve. If we play like this against hull then it’s a worry if we have ambitions of going up, as per last season. Overall though we can only be happy with that.

Enjoy your weekends
