Good away performance..the back lads were solid, and Anel and Gilchrist especially.
I'm liking Cooper, although only had to make a couple of straightforward saves.
KM frustrated me a bit with some poor decisions, but did well in the build up for the 2nd.
A clean sheet and 3 points,so happy with that..just need to keep hold of the ball more, but 2 great goals.
Subs did well, and all involved in the 2nd goal..I thought Brooks stood out in particular..UTB!

We went long at times because Hull played such a high line
So what? At times yes go for it but too often we were launching it into no man's land, I want to see our footballers passing and moving like we did against Watford, as I said happy with our win just slightly disappointed with our use of the ball, expect better because of the quality we have.

Blaster was hardly in the game first half and made the mistake that led to his booking

However, second half thought he improved and did his job defensively and I don’t remember him giving the ball away once although I may be wrong

Agree thought Vini and Blaster were poor 1st half
but in the 2nd half Vini improved a bit where as Blaster improved alot playing much better.

However it was noticeable how Vini and Blaster were playing so deep 2nd half, almost on their edge of our box.
Reminded me of some of the games we played in the PL but Hull had no cutting edge.

My starting XI ratings:

Cooper - 7.5
Gilchrist - 8
Souttar - 7.5
Anel - 8.5
Burrows - 8
Souza - 5.5
Arblaster - 5
Rak-Sakyi - 5.5
Hamer - 6.5
O'hare - 6.5
Moore - 5.5

Thought it was a comfortable win in the end, defended well and thought we were always threat going forward. Good away performance, there are a lot worse teams than Hull to play this season, who wouldn’t have taken 0-2 before kick off?

So it worked, caused them problems at times. We didn’t go long every time and it didn’t come off all the time. Teams can have different ways of playing in a game.

Cooper - Not overly tested really barring the longer distance speculative efforts. But so assured, commands his back four and communicates, oozes confidence and just an unbelievable upgrade. Essences of Hendo perhaps in there as well…

Ahmedhodzic - Steady Eddie and a bit of passion and drive back tonight. Glimpses of the earlier player that we all enjoyed. Nice reception at the end.

Gilchrist - Easy tiger! Ferocity at times. Well and truly up for it and loving his football at the minute as you can see. We will have more of that please, just ensure you harvest it and don’t let it boil over.

Souza - Probably covered biggest distance on pitch. Huge player for us this season. Work rate has been phenomenal.

Arblaster - Early yellow didn’t help. Had to be a bit more cautious after that and he will learn from it. Steady performance none the less and acceptable.

I thought it was interesting that O'Hare didn't pass to Rak Saki, despite being in the better position arguably. Obviously on reflection it's because he knows Hamer very well.

Edit; as in his abilities, not just because he's his mate 😆

reminded me of england v ireland. wasnt amazing. but its still 3pts, a clean sheet & bar few moments. that quite a comfortable night. if only we could pay our bills we'd be in the top 2. loved how clinical we were for the 1st & a cracking finish from hamer. Kieffer Moore had an alright game, but his reluctance to take 1st time shots infuriates me. Like Watford, just hit it. & he needs to watch haaland on a loop

about this for a defensive turnaround. 3 clean sheets in our last 5 league games. last season it was 2 all season & 3 in previous 44 games

as i saying before i dont see the hull manager lasting long. he's foreign david weir. all that possession & for what. the hull chairman will be learning a lesson right now after sacking liam rosenior

Will we ever see Campbell - how unfit was he on signing ?
He had no preseason, so will be behind by default. No more friendlies means he's got no choice but U21s games for natch practice. If we'd tried to win the cup game at Barnsley, he'd have a 3rd round tie where he'd likely get at least a half hour from the bench.

Thoroughly professional away performance.

Really impressed with the back 4, JSR was a thorn in their side whilst on the pitch, Moore’s hold up play and hassling of the defence was excellent. Brooks did really well when he came on and good to see McCallum get his first goal.

We invited them on at 2 nil and if the header goes in it’s squeaky bum time but with all the subs on and no one to hold the ball up front it was likely to happen.

Souza really doesn’t rate Brewster does he?! 🤣

Fair to wilder for making the changes and moore for his part. + brooks and Mcallum.
Wilder has finally got around to reading & heeding my advice about proactive substitutions from 60mins and it's paid off within 6mins.
Hope he's learnt his lesson now and will do more in future.

Why would you call a player shit after a handful of games?

They put on that shirt I back em. He plays lone up top and does a great deal of the dirty work and a great deal off the ball too…

You’re following on from your crap of last season.. just glad I don’t sit next to you.
So have you thought of these 5 players I asked you to name who I ‘hate’ yet or what? Since there’s apparently so many, it won’t be difficult.

Why , what happened ?
He wasn’t impressed with Brewster’s movement or lack thereof a couple of times and seemed keen to tell him.

The first one was probably a poor pass from Souza rather than anything Brewster did wrong but Vini expected Brewster to be on the end of it.

Good ... Brewster needs a rocket up him ... Maybe he'll improve
