I would like to see, if fit, Howard for Turner, Freeman for Brayford and Alcock for Basham. Both Brayford and Turner poor, Basham did ok but cocked it up for goal

Not entirely sure I would go along with all of those changes but I would Deffo put Howard straight back in as I just think he is clearly a better keeper even though turner has done "ok" in these few games .. He effectively won us the game at Notts county with one save ( I accept that's his job!)
I have to say I am a little disappointed with Brayford since he returned

Alcock played centre half earlier in season. What frustrates me most is though it didn't take long for Clough to get rid of Collins soon enough so why can't he see we need a centre half. Also he got rid of best centre half currently playing up the road at Donny. Now captaining Donny and getting voted one of the best centre half a in the league.

We only have 2 natural centre backs at the club. Collins and Kennedy. Been a massive weakness for us all season.

brayford is a quality player i think people need to remember he is a full back and not a striler ir a complete game changer hes just a quality fullback who i think we are incredibly lucky to have at this level and im happy with the way hes played since since coming back.
alcock for basham is laughable, basham has been a solid player for us most of the season just because he "cocked up" for a goal doesnt meen he should be dropped alcocks a decent player but hes a full back so not sure why you woukd swap him for bash.

Freeman for Brayford are you kidding me!

Putting Alcock at centre half would make us even more vulnerable to the high ball than we already are. We only have 2 players over 6 foot and struggle like fuck every time the other team put a cross in, to take one out for a 5"5 right back would be a foolish move in my opinion.

Not sure why he does not give Collins a chance even if he is on the bench as cover.

I think Clough has a bit of the Kevin Blackwell about him and is freezing out players that could still be useful to us especially if they can't get football elsewhere.

Not if you moved Basham into midfield to replace one of the assorted frail midgets. You would actually be adding overall height and strength to the team then. I can certainly see a good argument for doing that.

Alcock is not that short, he has a good spring and he's good in the air. He's also a natural defender. A bit like Kennedy in that respect. He won two MOM awards in his only two games at centre back lest we forget.

Alternatively, we could just bite the bullet and bring back Collins? I think Clough will be forced into doing one or the other when Basham gets suspended soon anyway.

there does seem to be quite a list of players on the 'black list' building. i remember the Derby fans telling us originally that Clough has a tendency to do this

We were told that Collins had been dropped because stats/research showed that we conceded more goals that we should when he was playing.

the number of goals we have conceded from set pieces makes we wonder whether we cut off our noses to spite our faces.
