People have done nothing but laugh every time I criticised Heckingbottom and his tactics/formations.

You were all laughing, you’re not laughing now are you

Had my reservations about Hecky ever since he couldnt buy a win away from home last season.

Bloke got us into the play offs purely on home form last year. Now that his shite negative wank football has been exposed he’s really being shown up for the league one manager that he really is.

This is perhaps one of the most pivotal seasons in our history and I honestly couldnt think of many worse managers to be guiding us through it

You lose all credibility if you screenshot instead of just quoting a post. Proper boomer behaviour.

It's called delusion pal. So many on here just refuse to accept reality.
Bottom line is we are in a false position we have had a lot of good fortune especially on the road so let’s not get too upset and see what happens in the next chapter

Nah. It's not the defeat (though very disappointing) that the majority of fans have an issue with. It's the poor team selection, bizarre tactics and inept team performance with a seeming lack of effort and quality from the team in a pivotal game, that most fans have an issue with tonight. I'm one of those.

His managerial frailties have been there to see ever since he took the job last season but he’s somehow got away with it until now. The away form has been nothing short of abysmal ever since he took over.

The performances have never been great but he’s been shithousing results. Now that results have turned, it really is showing up his ineptitude as a manager.

What has this manager ever done to make you think he's up to the job?. He was a league 1 player and now, being generous, a league 1 manager, he was unemployed before wilder took pity in him.

He’s certainly showing flaws especially in man management hard finding the right man

First and foremost, PH has had to deal with sub standard facilities and also being the face of SUFC during all the tekova bollocks and for that he deserves so much credit

But playing that midfield, week in week out......

Not sure where you get this from.
Agree we often don't look that good and our midfielder struggles regards regaining possession and stringing a few passes together.

However our XG is the 2nd best in the league.
Basically we almost always create more chances and better chances than the opposition.

Xg doesn’t score you goals and win you matches. Nunez has a higher Xg return than Haaland yet had scored 19 fewer goals

Cheap option. Doesn’t change games with substitutions or formation. No tactical nous. Got away with having the second best group of players in the division so far. But maybe not for much longer.

Bob Monkhouse once said "People used to laugh at me when I said I wanted to become a comedian. Well they're not laughing now."

Absolutely hit the fucking nail on the head

It's a bit odd trying to do a victory lap when it seems you were completely wrong. You were predicting, based on pre-season performances, that we needed to play a back 4 because we "clearly" can't play with a back 3. We're 2nd in the league after playing 3 at the back all season (with the exception of Stoke away, where we started with a back 4 and lost).

Same usual fans with red and white tinted glasses on that don’t like any criticism towards players or staff. Any decent result since the World Cup break glossed over how shit we were in those matches, but a lot of our fans don’t see that, they just see 3 points but it’s now caught up with us. Like people have said, it’s been happening for months but we’re lucky with how shit this league is

we need criticising for yesterday but it was the players that were fucking awful
we know they are much much better than what they churned out

if we play like that again we will foul it up
but like man utd were dreadful at liverpool they came back fighting so must we

we lost to Luton who now have the beat away record in the division
boro beat a dog shit crumbling swansea team of kids

all games are different

we lost , not like we have never seen that before
what we need is to bounce back not give in like the op

Thinking about if I was manager

Wez
Baldock Anel egan Clark ?nd/stevens

Doyle norwood

Ndyie

McBurnie Jebbison

For subs
McAtee swap for Jebbison and switch with Ndyie
Coulibally swap for Doyle
The defence we can cover off well
Bogle for Baldock
Basham
Berge id use as a last resort but if used he would be in instead of McAtee

We have stop with the flat 3 in midfield
