Happy new year everyone! I think we won't fuck it up as our team is good, the squad is nearly up to full strength (for the first time this season) and we have done well, so far, with terrible injuries. It will take an almighty collapse, injury to key players and an unprecedented run of form from a club around 35 - 39 points to catch us. I don't think they are good enough, so I'm going for automatic promotion!

Then again I've just got home and fairly pissed up, so I might post a different opinion in the cold light of day, when the benign glow of John Jameson's wears off!

The footballing God's hate "Pigitus" of any type so Fat Ladys in full flow are the biggest red rag to a bull we could tempt their wrath with.

Back on planet earth the only worry I have is the weekly taking our foot off the gas when on the verge of killing teams off and allowing them lifelines leading to hanging on for the last 10 or so.
I feel the bench could be much better utilised which would keep energy levels on the pitch high for the full 90 and reduce the likelihood of injury through tiredness.

That aside for me it's absolutely 1 game at a time with every 3 points greedily accepted and another game gone. We are in for an incredibly pivotal 21 games which IMHO will define our future for years to come.
