A good attitude being shown by the Horse!
From the OS............
It's taken 18 months but Geoff Horsfield is delighted that he has his first goal for the Blades.
The experienced striker found himself in the right place at the right time to stab home United's extra-time winner after MK Dons goalkeeper Nathan Abbey spilled Luton Shelton's shot.
"I'm relieved," said Geoff. "It is nice to be back playing, I never had a chance with the old manager but the Gaffer gave me a chance and I've taken it.
He adds: "I spoke to Bryan in the summer, I told him I wanted to play for him, I was gutted when I left him at West Brom but I've been in football long enough to get on with it. It has been a nightmare, it was frustrating but I knew I could do a job.
"The manager has brought strikers in but he knows what I'm about around the changing rooms with morale - I know the league inside out and I hope I can add experience around the place. It is a long season, you need a good squad, but there's six quality strikers here and that may be a good problem for the Gaffer.
"It is nice that I've got a goal. I'm glad I could nick it in extra time but I won't be knocking on the Gaffer's door and demanding to play on Saturday - he knows what I can do!"
