Deano looks very sluggish to me since coming back from lockdown.....couple of decent stops at Villa and a Hollywood save at Newcastle apart, he's not been great.

OK you could argue he has been exposed by individual team mate errors but he would normally have done much better with St Maximins for Newcastle, Arsenals winner on Sunday and Kane's disallowed effort last night.

If we get him back for a 3rd season we need a no2 who is going to push him really hard. Moore isn't even Championship level and i don't know what's happening with Verrips. If Moore is getting on the bench in front of him it says a lot....

I agree, not looked as good. Kane’s VAR goal yesterday was a very poor effort, I know he mis-hit the shot which wrong footed Henderson but he should have got a foot to that regardless. Can’t see him coming back next season anyway, so we need to get a new first choice.

I agree too, dont really like to criticise the lad cos he has been brilliant for us for 2 seasons but lately he`s gone off the boil. Perhaps Manure can see this in him thats why he wont replace De Gea just yet.

He is definitely a player who feeds off the crowd and yes he has been fantastic for us, individually won us probably more points this season than any other player.

Whilst i would love him back for a third season we need to be bringing someone else through or signing another top keeper who will give him competition. His position has never really been under threat at all and his good form is down to him putting the heat on De Gea and wanting the Manure shirt rather than him being fearful of losing his place at BDTBL, which might be good short term for us but certainly not long term.

Moore has a year left on his deal but if we are offered buttons for him we should take it, although the £5K per week wages will put a lot of Champ clubs off and Verrips has a 4 year deal but there is obviously something wrong there, (maybe his contract situation is still not sorted?).

Jake Eastwood has been "highly rated" for years but at 23 hasn't got anywhere near the first team so it really is time for him to step up or ship out, (contracted until 2022).
