Henderson Staying??

bbc gossip page has the daily mail saying if he isn't starting at man u next season he will be back on loan next season.

Noticed that Ian Wright on motd made a typically snide comment after our highlites on Saturday suggesting that Hendo should be playing for a top six side. We were 6th in the Prem at the time.

It’s called ‘verbal shorthand’. Everybody in the world knows that ‘top six’ means the six clubs that regularly qualify for Europe and have greater income than the rest of the PL because of this.

I don't believe this season is a flash in the pan but I can understand why Hendo might want to complete a good solid second prem season here before considering signing if at all. His ambitions are too big to be stuck on ManU's bench all/most of next season so another season here then ...um...we'll see how the land lies at ManU again.

I just can't see him staying with us if he's in line to become Oli's first choice. If Man Utd sold De Gea and brought in another first choice keeper then I think Henderson would feel annoyed which if we qualify for Europe, would work in our favour.

But at the moment there are too many if's and but's to say for certain. I do hope CW/AK are planning for life without Henderson, it'll be foolish not to, but if we manage to get him for a third season on loan or otherwise, then winner, winner, chicken dinner!

There is always the option that CWAK turned a Shrewsbury goalie into England and Manure's number 1, can they do it again without spending gazillions? Verrips not had a real 1st team chance yet.

I wasn't sure if Ian Wright was saying that Henderson should be playing for a top six club as opposed to Sheffield United, or as opposed to sitting on the Manchester United bench. It was slightly ambiguous.
