Man Utd looking to spend big and rumoured to be tracking Maddison, Sancho and Grealish. Add that to the defenders they’re also after and it says they need to sell in the summer to raise £150-200 odd million in sales. Pogba will get them a long way there, but I reckon they’re going to need another 50 million or so and a deal for Hendo with a buy back clause doesn’t seem like a ridiculous or outlandish conclusion.

Hendo is better than DeGea full stop and will be their number one keeper next season at some point. He may have to start on the bench but hes their player and on a long term contract so will do what hes told!

Also all this crap about DeGea being on 300k and has to play ..remind me about Sanchez will you ?

I suppose it would be nice to have him as a Sheffield United player, however he’s destined for bigger things and Man U won’t sell him.
This season has confirmed his status as a premier league keeper....with his kicking still being the thing that stops him being world class.
So still lots of room for improvement...and another year on loan is likely to be the decision and re assess again in 12 months.

personally speaking, he needs to sort the kicking otherwise I see Man U opting to bring in another continental keeper who can pick out full backs and ping passes with both feet.

where else would the lad want to be if not Man U?
He will want to play and so there’s a great chance he will be back next season. The fly in the ointment could be cost...Man U might start demanding bigger fees and full wage contributions; With other clubs prepared to step in and take him on those terms!

we shall see. Negotiations began early again and took until July last season to resolve.

His biggest weakness is not knowing whether to come off his line or stay put. He’s an incredible shotstopper but it’s somewhat undermined on occasion by this baffling indecision - see Watford (h) for exhibit A.

He’ll sort that out though (it’s already got better) as he gets older and he’s destined for the top, no doubt about that.

I think we should offer Man Utd the opportunity of loaning Henderson to us for another season. We will invest our time and resources in developing his goalkeeping skills at a Premier league level.

And as they seem to be signing the likes of Grealish and Maddison they'll give us Juan Mata on a freebie.

Although I like Dean Henderson, no player is bigger than the club. He wants to play for Man Utd, ok no problem. I for one would like our own permanent goalie, preferably one here for the long term. I wonder how it makes our players here feel, knowing he’s just using us a stepping stone to supposedly bigger things? Just a thought.
