We’ve been utter wank this season, Wilder is in no position to be dictating to the Prince how the club should be run. Changes need to be made, if Wilder isn’t willing to change then it’s best for all involved that we get a new manager.
Alright alright we all know you want him to go 🙄

The smart money is on them haggling over compensation, not just for CW, but he will be making sure AK, MP etc get sorted fairly.
The optimist in me hopes the can find a way to compromise and give it another go.

The answer should be somewhere in the middle. Get in a DoF that they both agree to. I don't think it can be Van Winckle by the sounds of it, so find an experienced guy who knows how to tickle Wilder's balls and be the go between. There must be someone in a technical or Director of football role that Wilder has worked with before, like Les Reed at Southampton (example not fact they have)

I thought Bettis was the go between for the prince and wilder, so I am guesing his job should now be untenable.

Prince last March - We're having a DOF

CW - Over my dead body

Prince - We're having one

CW - I'll sqweem and sqweem and sqweem

Prince - We're having one

CW - Face on for 12 months

Players - No motivation, can't play without their leader who is away with the fairies

Prince - These results and your performance in the transfer market has strengthened my opinion that we need a DOF

CW - Over my dead body

Prince - We're having a DOF

CW - Well you can shove this job up your arse then

Prince - I accept your resignation

CW 6 Hours later - Perhaps I've been a little hasty, what have I done?

Prince 6 hours later - I don't think I should have let him leave, what have I done?
If the ownership court case shenanigans are anything to go by, this might not be too far from the truth.

This is about the 10th message from you all saying the same thing. PA bought this club for peanuts by default and one man has made him millions. Can you answer me a question people like you backing PA can’t or won’t seem to answer. How much of his own wealth has this man invested in the club?
People like you will slink away when it goes tits up and fans are up in arms about PA. He has zero affinity to this club he has made a few quid out of us now so it doesn’t matter. Come back in 12 months fella and let’s see where we are then.

I’m not pro the Prince in any way, it’s clear he can’t afford to own a Championship club let alone a Premier League club. It’s why I took very little interest in the court case, it was one poor owner vs another.

I’m basing my opinion on what is happening on the pitch. Something needs to change, Wilder seems to want to carry on as if everything is fine. For me it’s a case of either Wilder changes or the manager needs to change and ultimately Wilder has chosen the latter.

Wilder has been amazing for the club and everyone should be extremely grateful for what he has achieved. But it doesn’t mean he gets a free pass to perform beyond terrible this season and not be held accountable.

Will not make much if we get relegated.
I don’t see that his investment has been that productive for him.
As to who we should be backing the answer is twofold: first we have no idea as to what is going on and may never know, so backing either at this stage is a nonsense. Second we should be backing the team / club as many of us on here have done for years, often in far worse situations than exist today.

Av gorraidea.
CW grows a 'tache and sports a mullet. Prince introduces him as head coach Cristen Wilderhof from Austrian Elite futbol technik ( made that up but nobody will know )
CW -Aus - talks about zer special klub und being acht it, ozzer lot are dummbkopfs.
Appeh days.

while I know it’s not a reliable source, this article about premiership owners makes interesting reading

Says it all really, there are League Two clubs with wealthier owners than United!

The problem is, are there any billionaires out there that want to buy Sheffield United? Maybe, but it’s unlikely they could compete with Man City or Chelsea anyway, you’d need one of the US tech billionaires!

1. This is not how capitalism work. The owner takes all the financial risk. Employees receive a wage and are rewarded for their performance. I believe CW is the highest paid person at the club, so it's not like he's not being well rewarded for his good work.
2. If you look at how much PL owners have spent on transfers, PA is towards the top, despite being the poorest. Yes, our wage bill is less but all the current squad have had their wages bumped up. Add to that what has been spend before the PL.
3. He won't be making a few quid next season or the seasons after if we don't get back up
4. The Man City and Liverpool owners and managers have no affinity with their cities or clubs, until they bought them/were employed by them
5. How much did PA buy the club for?

And still we ask the question how much has PA invested out of his own pocket? We received let’s say upwards of 300m and are going to receive parachute payments for the next 2 years that’s a shit load of money.
The transfer fees reported aren’t exactly on the money either, it has been discussed on 5 live this afternoon that Ramsdale will cost the club more like 10m. Do people actually believe we have spent 130m?
