Indeed, has to be said its been poor from everyone.

Giddings (I think) going on TV last night saying he had gone and that it was done. Despite no statement from the club.

Sky Sports changing their article on their website half a dozen times.

Other local journo's completely in the dark and just having a guess.

The club saying nothing at all.

To be fair, they were only reporting what was coming out of the club. You can't sit on your hands and wait for an official statement. Especially not from a shitshow like ourselves!

Even if he stays for now, it will only be a matter of time before he leaves.

A clean break for both United and Wilder is the best solution.
Not if it’s done right, but this is just false hope. There is nothing being reported which would suggest they’re trying to resolve this and keep him in role.
If I were the board that’s what I’d be putting out if I wanted to keep him.

Last season, Swansea, Brentford, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield, Leeds, QPR, Reading and West Brom

looking closer the common denominator of those in that list who are currently enjoying successful campaigns are the ones who are managed by a head coach that has spent a considerable time in Under 23s and below football developing players Combined with a scouting network that can identify players from across Europe or a good stable of academy players.

In recent times the likes of Forest, Huddersfield, QPR have gone down the route of either poaching up and coming managers or hiring established ones without much depth in scouting or academy prospects... and it doesn’t take a genius to work out what we are more aligned with.

I'm for keeping him don't want him to leave but, this is making us look silly as a club, and in honesty could he want to return.

Prince last March - We're having a DOF

CW - Over my dead body

Prince - We're having one

CW - I'll sqweem and sqweem and sqweem

Prince - We're having one

CW - Face on for 12 months

Players - No motivation, can't play without their leader who is away with the fairies

Prince - These results and your performance in the transfer market has strengthened my opinion that we need a DOF

CW - Over my dead body

Prince - We're having a DOF

CW - Well you can shove this job up your arse then

Prince - I accept your resignation

CW 6 Hours later - Perhaps I've been a little hasty, what have I done?

Prince 6 hours later - I don't think I should have let him leave, what have I done?
Thank fuck a Mini Metro wasn't part of the discussion.

When it’s reported that a manager is leaving, even if there is a massive u turn, it’s not going to last long.

Even if he stays for now, he won’t be manager at the start of next season.

Prince. And if Chansiri can have golden elephants, I will have Ali thief and his 40 babas.
CW. N. O. NO !

Err noooo, best solution is if the Prince admits he's made a rash decision, pondered on it, changed his mind, and declares all football decisions back with Chris and he'll be on the touchline tomorrow.

This is the worst decision the Pauper Prince will ever make- do you really think the next manager will be 'top class' and given vast amounts of dough? Give me a break it will be a total douche and we will plummet.

You have a totally visible perfect answer in Norwich and what do we do ignore it- it's so daft its laughable.

We’ve been utter wank this season, Wilder is in no position to be dictating to the Prince how the club should be run. Changes need to be made, if Wilder isn’t willing to change then it’s best for all involved that we get a new manager.

Like me about 75,000 Blades are all aware its been wank this season, but we are backing Chris because of this absolute dream world he has given prior to this wank season. He's a gem, he would have turned it around- he's learnt from this season and would have been even better next year. He's a winner (just not this season), you don't give up on class.

The decision is really bad and makes no sense. The fans that go to 'away games' know what the bond between players/ fans and Chris is- it's very special- virtually unrepeatable and is being tossed away, it's crackers.

Prince - But he's not going to be known as a director of football. He's going to be known as Maurice
The Maurice of football

CW - That's better, I think I could work with a Maurice of football, why didn't you say that in the first place
🤣🤣
