He has to go

Shankly, Ferguson, Clough, Mourinho, Wenger. All sacked during their career. CWAK know the score, no matter how much love we have for them, the board will be starting to get twitchy. He's got a weak squad and spent XYZ on it. In January, he'll be asking for more. Based on what we've got for our money in last two windows, you'd have to be mental not to think they'll be going "hmmmm" during the discussions.
The signings in January 2018 were all out the door well within a year.
They were dire too.

Mmmmm... Don't usually post after a game as emotions are running high one way or another.

But, please stop the personal abuse.
I am a huge Wilder fan and hope he is still in charge in 10 years time, But, we need someone in to oversee incoming transfers as his record with spending big wonga is not very good.
There's lots regarding tactics and team selection that is puzzling me at the moment but after seeing Burke over the first few games why isn't he making a sub appearance?.
Defences sit 10 yards further back. Oh, and why is Lundstram playing?
UTFMB!

Yes Chelsea have improved their squad. Let's not pretend we haven't spent money. I don't seem to remember what other teams have spent being an issue last year when we were taking points off them.

Look at the players we've got and what they've cost. We've spent half of what Chelsea have and still have a Championship squad. We can't sit here and go "well look at where they've come from" when we've broken our transfer record numerous times to get them in. The only players that excuse can wash with are players like Bash, Fleck, Norwood, Stevens, Baldock etc....and yet those are the ones who still to this day remain our best players. It leaves an awful lot to be desired for our transfer policy.
Many of his signings have been abysmal frankly.

Why is it as well that whenever we’re utter wank it’s more utter wank than any other club as ever been? We certainly hold the patent and copyright on occasional utter wankness. Seriously though, I miss going to the matches so much. The buzz, the sheer fuckoffness of it (quoting Don Logan). I know it’s not the most important thing lately but it’s a big thing in our lives. That first home game back will be something to fucking savour.

I think a lot of signings have let him down slightly tbh however like others have mentioned who would you get in? Personally I believe if we go down Wilder has the capability’s to get us back and even this season isn’t curtains just yet so I’d persist with him you don’t just turn a bad manager in one season it’s really frustrating at the minute but without making excuses 2nd seasons tough and we needed all the help we could get no fans no restriction on transfers for PL clubs injury’s have all come at once and a quick summer with a relatively small squad it couldn’t have timed any worse for us so we were always going to be up against it

It is seriously concerning to me that, illness aside, McB & Brew would have been our front pairing today.
Think one of our many problems is Wilder/Knills tactics to overload the top of the pitch include the CB”s and the attackers being out of position. We don’t play forwards as forwards, we don’t slip the ball through for them to run onto from midfield (when was the last time that happened resulting in a goal or not?) instead they drop into midfield to fill gaps or end up with chalk on their boots ont sideline helping to get defenders in the box. Ffs it’s a mess our failing “system”
And it doesn’t fill me (and I’m guessing the players) with confidence when Wilder keeps giving post match interviews saying “we can’t go toe to toe with the PL clubs” or “they’re a different class to us” ffs put the white flag down and fight.

I think you are being a bit rough on the met police, smallish selection n alll that?

We are cheapskates. Always were, always will be. UTB
That’s a well used and normal, deserved cliche
But the irony is we’ve been the most ambitious in the clubs history.

Its incredible to think Norwich spent less than 5 million....where as we‘ve spent nearly 100 million on transfers.

Being a football manager is a job. Wilder will get another job, maybe even a bigger, higher profile one. Good luck to him.
I don’t get another club. My dad doesn’t get another club. My kids don’t get another club.
Personally I want to stay in the PL for the good of the club and me, and my family.
No man is bigger than the club.

True. But the squad we have available isn't good enough to stay up. That is partially Wilders fault. But sacking him isn't going to change that fact. One way or another we're probably going down. I'd probably rather we went down with Wilder.

His record in the last 6 months has been abysmal.

Maybe he has believed the media hype about himself & lost his mojo somewere along the line.

But as harsh as it is at the moment he deserves some time to try & get a win from somewere.

How long? Who knows?

However he needs to take a serious look at how things are going at the moment & try to get some points from the next few games.

Can anyone blame PA from having concerns?

I wouldnt like to be in PAs shoes atm.

nonsense. sorry but in my eyes Wilder has so much credit in the bank, like others have said we could go down with 1 point and his job should still be safe. this man has given us our best times since the 19th century, what he's done for this club in the past 5 years (after some of the shit we've all been through) is nothing short of literally unbelievable, and we are so far ahead of our curve purely because of his (and AK's) brilliance. this almost reminds me of the ranieri/leicester situation in 2016 where he's been so good that he's managed to raise expectations to totally unrealistic levels.

he should be spending tonight thinking about whereabouts in the car park he wants his statue building but instead he's instead spending it thinking about what he can do to turn around this wretched form because we've got people questioning his position due to terrible indivudal errors and the fact that some of our players have apparently stopped giving any sort of a damn. i don't know what our issue is at the minute or how we're going to sort it; but it is definitely not anything to do with Wilder.
If players don't give a damn , it's the manager's job to sort it !

Same again tonight in his post match interview, “Look what they can bring off the bench, top three side in the country etc”. Chris, we fucking know this. What I don’t accept and I can’t believe I’m saying this of a Chris Wilder side, is a lack of effort and desire. OK we lose to Chelsea, but go down with a FUCKING FIGHT!!! Seeing Lundstrum jog around the pitch, with 50% effort boiled my fucking piss tonight. Wilder is to blame picking the cunt. I’d rather a 17 year old from the Academy play than that lumbering scouse turd with his overinflated ego. I also think a gravy train is developing now at United. Players obviously not good enough and past it being given two year contracts? Money that could be spent a lot better elsewhere. Watching that pile of wank tonight and the past 5 months reminds me of the last days of Dave Bassett. Thing is though, Dave didn’t spend £100 million on mostly bang average players.
What's coming out of Chris's mouth just now is NOT recognisable as the Chris Wilder of the last 4 years. I'm afraid that he's sounding like a defeated man.

I never mentioned sacking Wilder on an earlier thread just if people would start asking the question and got a crazy reaction. To save time scrolling through the thread the following informed responses will not agree with you....

Best of luck with the reasoned debate coming your way ;)🤣

For what it’s worth I think Wilder should and will stay. We will stay up top of a religation division of 5 teams

Phew - glad I did not make that list.

Will the delete- post button still work in the morning ?

Yes Chris and his ( our ) teams tactics and form have to be questioned I was fucking livid watching that display yesterday
2 weeks ago we gave Liverpool away a game and created some good chances
It’s shite at the moment and the team are low on confidence right now ,
Let’s not get like Charlton - Curbishly or the rest of the entitled fans of the premier league we railed against last season and rightly poked fun at
Our players who wilder believes , bought in and rewarded with bigger contracts on more money need to fucking grow a pair of bollox and start playing for that shirt they pull on
But for me sack wilder after all he’s done for our club and w he’s bought us from and I’m done with this club I’ve loved , cried for , shed blood for , and inflicted on my children
Loyalty it works both fucking ways we can’t criticize players for not showing US loyalty then say sack the manager after a poor run
Good job we didn’t get beat 9-0 at home last Season
as always UTB
Fuck Dem Pigs 🐷
