Bradshaw started off with them. How many other Blades supporters joined the dark side as their first club?
Ritchie Humphreys is one.

I would keep the whole back five. Good solid unit. The defence would be the last think I would tinker with. We need to find and develop a good left back to challenge Hill and educate McMahon not to get a nose bleed when he crosses the half way line
Eh?? The defence got slaughtered every time it came up against any pace. Shockingly slow. McMahon physically assaulted any winger with pace.
you must have been to different games to me. The number of clean sheets shows how tight the defence was
McMahon is a dirty bastard. Not the sort of approach we should be condoning.
Blades fans seem quite squeamish about our players fouling / cheating at the moment. That's a new thing isn't it?
I get the impression that if Michael Brown or Carl Bradshaw or Glyn Hodges played for us now, they wouldn't be universally popular because of their, at times, underhand tactics.
I would rather we employed players who try and play football. I've lost count of the number of times McMahon has needlessly shoved an opposition winger into the advertising boards: is that really what we want our players to be doing?
Same goes for Doyle. I would rather he tried to play football than attempted to foul the opposition midfielders.
You need some players in your team prepared to get stuck in but it has to be hard but fair. Neither Doyle nor McMahon is fair.

.I went to the Blades' games. You? .
If Maguire signed for the pigs there would be riots at BDTBL.
The 3 players I mentioned were all hard, not sure any of them were fair though and every one of them was, arguably, much nastier than McMahon or Doyle.
Is charisma a factor here?

I seem to remember that one of their most cherished stars of the past was brought up as a Unitedite before passing over to the "dark side" : Mel Sterland!
