Outgoing? Hamer

Don't think he will leave and haven't all summer. If they allowed him to leave on loan obligation or not,, that would be staggering. He is our best player by a country mile and we need to start using him so, not playing 30 yard too deep
Last seasons Championship Player of the year award .Will we bring in this season's player of the year to replace him

If our "system" can't accommodate Hamer, and it looks to be the case, then why the fuck did we appoint a manager who almost uniquely wouldn't be able to accommodate our best player? Yet more fantastic joined up thinking from these fools in charge

I'm not bothered if he does go. Or if anyone else goes. I think we're in decline regardless. It would make a lot of sense to bring money in while we can

We look to be going mad with the signings and giving it a fair go but it is very scattergun, I struggle to see any cohesive unit emerging from the very random mix of players we're assembling and if we do sell Hamer in addition to the others it's very hard not to think we're entering a chaotic downward spiral

He didn’t, but from what I understand he sells a ‘platinum service’ where people are given information before others. If he’s not giving credible information what is he charging for?!
You answered the question with the first two words. The rest was some random justification to be a bully.

I asked this previously but will ask again now that things seem to heatibg up around Hamer.

Would we be happy selling Hamer for £15-£20m and bringing in a loan as his replacement?

It just doesn't make sense to loan him out regardless of a 2 mill fee and future "obligation"

If he has another Championship season this year, like he did last year, he'll still be worth 15-to-20 mill even with being another year older 🤷‍♂️

We'd lose most of creativity and goals output, we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot massively...

I keep arguing with my Cov mates (who say Hamer should be in the premier league) that he's not fit enough nor displays athletic attributes for a prem player. Premier league players don't drink pints & shots midweek, they're athletes, on another fitness level, plain and simple.

Will be sad to see him go but if we get near 20m for him then fair play and decent business.

Think it’s to balance next year’s books as we lose parachute payments this year.

In my opinion he must be replaced permanently with quality if he goes

Go back to Coventry for Rudoni 😂

Solomon in on loan and borrow against this "future obligation" money and take Rudoni.

Or, Solomon in on loan & Brownhill on a free - would have been smart, if only Brownhill wasn't going Saudi...

Otherwise losing Hamer makes no sense...

Except he'll only have 12 months left on his contract. If we could get £20m for him id be tempted but I dont think we will and nowadays you dont get much for £5 - £10m so who would we replace him with?

Forgive the flawed analogy but when Rolf Harris was famed for painting and not being a nonce, he’d be painting away and you’d have no idea what it was.

“Can you guess what it is yet?”

The all of a sudden he’d turn it upside down and it would be a Yee tree 😬

Anyway, feels like that. I’ve given up trying to track the squad and map the positions. Can’t quite decide if we’re playing 3D chess or throwing shit and the wall and seeing what sticks.

We’re so close now. Let’s just see how we look at the end of the window.

I think we would probably have to find a gem from abroad but if we are looking in England the only potential replacement I can think of would be Buendia but he doesn’t fit the profile

His contract will be a year shorter, so his value will represent that.

2 million loan and 15 to 20 million next season to Leeds 95% done
