If we sign him for £500K and he turns out to be the bizz and is even better than Leigertwood, that'd be a bargain!!Foxy said:He's got a release clause of £500k to a premiership club
He's also on about £2.5k a week at present, so providing its a medical with the right people and it goes ok, sounds like this one might happen!
Not too bad thensilverfox said:Some say he has a clause to let him go for £500,000.

Colchester United ace Greg Halford has revealed the U's rejected a bid from Sheffield United before the transfer window closed.
The England U21 international had been heavily linked with the Blades and has now confirmed their interest in his services
Halford told BBC Sport: "Colchester received a big offer for me from Sheffield United but it didn't happen, the chairman wanted me to stay.
"All I can do now is give 100percent on the pitch for Colchester - and I don't think I've had a bad game this season."

Blades Target Wants To Leave
By Blades-mad
Monday 23rd October 2006
Sheffield United target Greg Halford has made it public that he wishes to leave Championship side Colchester United in January 2007.
Halford, who saw his club Colchester reject a seven figure sum for the Defender/Striker from the Blades in the last transfer window has stated that he would like to leave Layer Road.
Halford said; "My transfer request is still in, I feel I have stepped up to Championship level but believe I have Premiership potential. Every player wants to play in the top-flight and I'm no different.
"The club could probably go out and buy three or four players if they sold me, but it depends whether they want to let me go."
The desire to leaves comes after the club lye 13th in the Championship after winning automatic promotion last season. A defender, who knows is way to goal is a huge asset for any club - this was demonstrated last week when the U's demolished Sheffield Wednesday to a 4-0 victory with Halford claiming one of the goals with a sweet 30 yard shot.
If the Blades do plan to make a bid for Halford then they will have to wait until January when the transfer window re-opens.
