I know a guy who is a close friend of Halford’s. In his early 20’s he was already pissed off with football and often threatened to pack it all in and spend more time playing in his band. Probably explains why he never made the big time?

I also think he’d have been a better striker than defender. The lad was tall, quick, skilful and could head a ball. But his head has been up his arse for years unfortunately.
