When he came to the Lane in January I wasn't one of those who was dead against him coming in, and I thought if Wilder wanted him then he was good enough for me, and I was pleasantly surprised with how well he took to life at the Lane. He knuckled down, worked hard and at times made a vital contribution to getting us over the line. I was also impressed with how he kept his down and slotted straight in to the dressing room.
It's obvious his move to Cardiff didn't work out, he alluded to being a bit of a homebird, and although we've moved on from him and he isn't a player we should be looking at, there are plenty of clubs out there up north that should be looking at signing him, because he isn't a bad player at all.
