Really hope he doesn't join Wednesday, I'd have thought he may well go to join up with Parkinson again at Sunderland.
Yeah, he’ll get a free pen and a lump sum to cover his funeral costs.

Silly challenge at home to Brentford aside, I didn't see him have a bad game for us. He was unplayable against Reading at home and he certainly improved us.

I wouldn't see the logic of moving on Leon & Billy to make way for him. He is an excellent signing for anybody in the Championship.

GLTTL (words I never thought I'd associate with Madine).

He's too good for L1 but that will end up being a perfect move for him, because he'll get them up.

He's just what Phil Hoofinson needs.
Used to be together at Bolton too, so that adds up.

I’ve heard he’s a vigilante who likes to dress up in a black rubber suit and patrol the streets of Cardiff from the shadows, attacking criminals and leaving them for the authorities. In fact, he’s so good, the Chief of police has a big spotlight he shines into the sky bearing the image of a washing machine to alert him when his special skills are needed.

When he came to the Lane in January I wasn't one of those who was dead against him coming in, and I thought if Wilder wanted him then he was good enough for me, and I was pleasantly surprised with how well he took to life at the Lane. He knuckled down, worked hard and at times made a vital contribution to getting us over the line. I was also impressed with how he kept his down and slotted straight in to the dressing room.

It's obvious his move to Cardiff didn't work out, he alluded to being a bit of a homebird, and although we've moved on from him and he isn't a player we should be looking at, there are plenty of clubs out there up north that should be looking at signing him, because he isn't a bad player at all.

He was fine for us, scored goals (and anyone who scored goals last season contributed to the great position we find ourselves in today).

It was noticeable that when Madine came off, away at Villa last season, we ended up drawing 3-3. He was a handful up front and could defend corners due to his height.

Anyway, if he is literally a free agent, I would say he would be a decent punt for any Championship team.

After considering whether to rejoin depressing bore Phil Parkinson, Madine heads instead to Blackpool.

Superb signing for League One. Regardless of his past, he played an important role in getting us promoted to the Premier League and gave 100% both on and off the field. Will always remember that. GLTTL

Strange one that, I don’t see how a promotion last season makes no championship teams interest. Probably his reputation goes before his ability now.

Not really a bad move as he said himself he's a bit of a home bird a d Blackpool isnt a million miles away from his home town of Carlisle. Admittedly I wouldn't want to walk it, but it's definately closer than Cardiff is.

Quality signing for Blackpool, can’t see them paying big wages so it’s makes it all the more surprising! Was brilliant for us so he went from zero to (semi) hero in my eyes. Good luck Gary.

Edit: ignore me, got my mileage wrong
