If Wanker Madine signed for us, then i would stop going to the Lane whilstever he was there. I have my principles. Non of my financial contribution to SUFC would end up in that titwanks pockets.

And now?

You say that. But you've paid for a season ticket (presumably) so your contributing financially regardless. One other thing I'll add. Football involves 11 players. 18 including subs. Not to mention the management staff. Go support them. Even if you don't want to support Madine. There's others deserving of your support. Utb.

Starts tonight.

Which is a mistake, as his impact in a shorter period of time from off the bench would be greater.

Hope it doesn’t hinder us !!

His impact has been fairly impressive in the games he's started - Villa and Reading.

This risk of total head loss and being sent off should be more of a consideration for CW.

Should have had a penalty awarded for the blatant wrestlemania challenge.

Madine must have done well as the Pigs were singing "wanka" at him.

Well you know what hope did ...........

Difficult, isn't it? Madine scores that goal or gets that penalty and it could've won us the game, and we'd be saying what a key role he played. And regardless of that, if he doesn't start, what do the players do in that first half without an out ball? Seeing our lack of composure makes me think we'd have struggled even more. Or maybe it would've forced us to play the football we're good at. Who knows. It's always fine margins.

Honestly.

No it isn’t.

Not really.

Wrong tool for the job.

Height and physicality is a concern. If we were in for Maupay (I think he isn’t a towering player) Duffster, Freeman, Fleck

No. He isnt good enough.
He wasnt last year, and he weint get any better.
Hw can piss off back to hms titanic and help them piss the league.
No!

I can see Madine and Dowell coming back. Both impressed Mr Wilder with their attitudes, application, and abilities, I reckon.

If the price and budget is right, i can see em joining again, although perhaps both would be late transfer window targets after the main dealing is done.

Unless McBurnie arrives, I can see this happening. Not only to offer a different threat going forward (I would have thought mainly from the bench) but also to add height when defending set pieces.

It may well depend on Cardiff's plans. If they still want him then they may hold out for more than CW is willing to pay. If not and/or the player wants out (which sounded the case when he spoke at the end of last season) then he may well be a relatively cheap option.

Mcburnie is Madine 2.0.
He's faster, a better finisher and a lot younger. They are similar players so I'd expect it to be one or the other but if Swansea price themselves out of the sale then the money saved could be used on a different type of striker altogether (Maupay) and Madine could be the cheaper target man alternative.

Mcburnie is a good shout but he is more of a touch player than a target man.At 6ft 2
his height would be very helpful though.

Madine will be no threat whatsoever in the Premier league and that's why a team struggling to stay up let him out on loan.

I agree to some extent but someone like that is always going to be something defenders have to consider.

Llorente destroyed the highest rated young defender in the world in the CL semi as he couldn’t cope with the Arial ball or physicality.

Not suggesting madine is Llotente but the likes of Vokes and Ashley Barnes can be effective in the premier league - madine as a 4th choice for not very much money wouldn’t be the very worst idea I’ve heard.

Without staring the obvious 'target men'are yesterdays game, yesterday's men like Warnock,Pullis et al use them. None of the top strikers are target men with the possible exception of Giroud. We got promoted without a target.man if you ignore the occasional Madine appearance.

Madine would be rubbish in the premiership and CW knows this. If he comes back it's a sign of desperation born of a.low budget and I dont think he will.

Irrespective of the contribution he made at times last season, I'd be a bit concerned if we signed him for next season.
