We haven’t had a poster called Pommey, but if you meant Pommpey, that’s fine, spelling mistakes often happen when someone’s making a ranty post, you’re not alone.

Pommpey didn’t leave the site. He got banned for swearing at people & stuff.

This bed wetting label is getting rather tiresome .. especially since the same taunt was aimed at anyone who criticised last seasons summer window...ahead of the team humiliating us more times in one season than an entire lifetime of following the club

The bed wetting label isn’t handed out lightly. It is reserved for those who, over a period of time, prove themselves to be worthy of it by twisting themselves into impressively bizarre positions in a manful attempt to extract a negative out of literally anything.

Some prefer the term “fanny”, I have always been more partial to the “sandy vagina brigade” and the more erudite will go with “miserable cunts”. But bedwetters is the one that has stood the test of time and it is hard earned, so wear it with pride.

The bed wetting thread started the summer before,after the meltdown from not signing Swift, Wallace and Vaulks. We then won promotion.

"We won't sign anyone" "We'll have 5 players left at the end of the season" "We're getting relegated" "We're the laughing stock of South Yorkshire" etc....etc.... All the threads seem to be getting clogged up with well thought out replies like these. Perhaps the Negative Nellies could put them...

People are allowed to have opinions, Im not defending the 'bedwetters' and most of us have a balanced opinion. It just so happens that the so called 'bedwetters' have been right more than wrong and over the years the 'happy clappers' are trailing behind based on all reasonable evidence.

Given where we are currently, third supposed takeover, squad decimated and a 2pt deduction obviously people are concerned

It’s not binary though is it? Happy clappers and bedwetters are two extreme and opposite ends of the spectrum. Most sensible people are closer to the centre.

That's exactly my point. But when one of the many middle grounders makes a valid negative point they are automatically labelled a bed wetter and vica versa. However the world is full of 50 year olds who still act like school boys
