Is he who we have in mind for RCB?

Seems to me like the odd situation of a pre takeover target that is nevertheless still dependent on the takeover. Same with Browne. We shouldn't need a takeover to sign these two
Think issue is we don’t know who owner is or who manager will be.

Hard for anything to get done until the 2 main issues are sorted.

2 months until the season starts.

At least wait until the players are back for training before panicking ffs.
Exactly what people were saying at the start of last seasons transfer window, and we know what happened there...and we were about to be paid a 150m windfall back then.

It's understandable people are concerned and that's what a forum is for to voice those concerns. It won't change anything of course but then this site wd be empty until August otherwise

Would be a great signing so hope we can get it done

With parachute payments, why wouldn't they be able to keep him? If he's not moving to a PL club, it would be strange for him to move anywhere else

Why couldn't we keep the players we've released?

Oh that's right, we didn't want to...
That would also be a strange explanation with Osho, given he's done well for them and has a clear slot in their team. If they're choosing to release him then they must have some very ambitious plans

It is odd that we can't / won't move for players on a free transfer whilst the takeover is in limbo.

Surely our rebuild will involve a lot of free agents coming in regardless of ownership... so do they have different ideas about what players they want to bring in?
If so, could this mean Wilder is at odds with Des Taylor on players?

Or, are we so skint without the takeover that we can't afford to bring in players like Osho on a free?

Who is Des Taylor? I’ve seen his name mentioned on a few posts but have no idea who he is, or what his involvement with us is.

Or they are putting the money into the infrastructure and can’t follow it up with blowing the parachute money on getting immediately back up. They’ll maybe look to try and reinvest well but can’t pay the big championship money.

Nothing wrong with concerns.

It's the constant doom and gloom from some day in day out.

You know what they say about its better to start with low expectations. Generally we are a 'half empty' fan base but that's partly born from experience. Hopefully the club will give us something to be positive about soon

Or he's on high wages and they need to reduce wages and decided to focus on areas where they have most bodies already? I guess we'll never know...

We spent naff all last season. I struggle to believe that we are we so apparently hand to mouth when it comes to signing two frees.

Luckily everything Nixon says is totally trustworthy...

I think someones been on the beers before the England game 😊
Brandy maybe and do you actually believe I'd spend my time watching those eternal losers. For example had Italy on the ropes in the Euro final and should have pushed on to score may one or two more goals but no sit back for 75 mins and lose on penalties. And btw I was their at Hampden Park when Steve Coppell scored the winner in an England 1-0 win. So there (lol)
