Bash's injury apart, we didn't look any better at the back without Egan - just for the Egan knockers

We have relied on Egan for far too long and got away with it - a younger better R-footed CB should have been recruited in the summer but the budget was too small , forcing us to demand heroics of our aging hero Bash.

I know we don't have the money to survive at this level , but our bad luck with injuries is just beyond belief.
