I honestly don't think we will get hammered week in week out. Citeh, Arsenal, Newcastle, Scousers and a few more could be a bloodbath but not every week.

I am not saying we will win loads either with the current squad, but I think we will keep a lot of games quite tight but will struggle to score without much creativity in the side.

I'm usually clapper central me mate, but I've gone full 180 this last week. If my panic is a sign to panic, then get panicking! 😂

I've held Prince doubts for a little while, and tried to see the best in what we're doing and what we were about, but this last week has left me in no doubt of how poorly we're run.
 
I'm just utterly despondent that Osborn is getting anywhere near our Premier League side, when many didn't want him in the side last season. Yes he runs, but he's an absolute headless chicken. Surely we have a better option?

We’re light up front we all know that - Jebbison is injured apparently, Traore hasn’t trained thus far and I’m hesitant to throw him in with limited experience. I’d shape up 5-4-1 with Osborn as the attacking midfielder, but capable of dropping into midfield outside of possession. You’re going to get a shift out of him and at least he has some experience and nous. Try and get a goal as a set piece.

I know Ozzy has been made to play pretty much everywhere but his actual LWB position but you can't hate him so much you want to make him look really, really stupid as a 10. Might as well put him in goal. Traore at least would give them plenty to think about and knows where the goal is and god knows we don't really have anyone else who does anymore.

If a couple of the rumours pull through, and if we manage to get another striker in, things aren't looking so bad. Obviously Ndiaye is a big loss, but you can probably discount at least one from above without Illi going with the chance to make a marque signing upfront too

PH is reluctant to put new player on the chopping block on day one, and he has been clear about there being no need to rush injured players back too quickly.
I expect JLT to start, and probably Osborn too. If it’s not working, the 9 pff the bench can come on second half! 😉

Agreed. Complete free hit versus the top 6 clubs. Not expecting anything from those, apart from bragging rights if we achieve a miracle (remember spurs & Chelsea games???). We're fighting for the points versus florest, Luton, palace, Burnley, etc. Need to find 10 victories during those games.

we’ll be organised whatever team we put out , man for man every game bar one on paper we’ll not look good , but we have a massive part to play as we saw last time so let’s not let the part we can influence fail , ultimately to stay up will be a miracle , it’s the nightmare called the premier league

At the moment we don't, unless one of the young lads is ready to step into midfield?

Personally I would like to see Peck get a run out, as that lad looks like a unit. Brookes is also a decent shout. But both lack any experience, so it's over to our hardworking utility player in the meantime and we just need to get behind him.

An confident we will have a few more in fairly quickly anyway.

Don't understand why people don't think Traore won't be in the side next week, he starts training with us tomorrow and apart from the last 4 weeks as been playing in Sweden for the last few months so surely he is fit enough, as for learning to play the blades way he's only here to score goals, how hard is that ;)

Trying to move it forward now we’ve sold Berge and Ndiaye, I think this is the line up for Saturday. Osborn adds some tenacity at LCM and Anis takes Berges spot at RCM. Norwood adds a veteran presence at CDM and we need some experience as him and Osborn are the only players outside of defence who have played at this level.

Weaknesses remain at the LWB, midfield and striking positions. So provided we focus on passing the ball between centre halves and Baldock, we might have a chance. :)

Realistically I think we will struggle to create anything, but let’s hope we can keep defence tight and not concede any goals. The first six games are an easier spell so we need to maintain some confidence and try and get a couple of points on the board.
 
genuinely gonna be embarrasing at times lads afraid to say it but the team left with now would be mid table championship at best gonna be in for some hidings when we have a team like we do now not to mention the tactically inempt at this level not like he hasnt been there once before with us after wilder went how many did we win in the 8-10 games he took over at the end of that season? 1 or 2 max standard of players we have and manager dont cut it at this level sadly need to realise that and fast!

not gonna happen but need taking over and a clearout including management if we are ever going to have a chance at this level yes hes got us there but seriously is the manager or any of the players premier league standard a mile off, and for arguments sake name me a premier league team that would take any of our players we are left with or manager none of them would be anywhere near another premier league team

wanting and getting is two different things seen as though huddersfield want him aswell so says it all 😂 if we are being petty then which prem side would any of the other 3 you mention get in? name me one if they are as good as you think why has no prem team come on and got any of them 3 🤔😂
