Feel a bit silly now

It’s an opportunity for all the moaners who have mostly been discretely “thumbing it” in the last two weeks, to have a cathartic blart of negativity after the game.

We’re one game in, judge it after the window shuts and we’re 5-6 games in at the very least.

We were shit , end of , I am a person who always says it like it is , if I watch the pigs on tv , and then go with my piggy friends drinking I will say you played well today just watch you lot on tv , on the same agenda if my team play well or shite , as they did yesterday I will also say , what's the point covering it up . What's worrying is that its just a continuation of last season , as soon as we lost Coutts it went pear shaped. Its early days but they have a very hard game on Tuesday lets see if there is a reaction from the team !

I can't believe it.
The shit pile going on the other side of the city (sorry, on the outside of the city) is a laughing stock.

We have one game in the new season that we should have got a point from but got suckered five mins from time and the moaners come out in droves - and even attack Wilder.

GET A FUCKING GRIP

We’re at the point in supporterdom where people have a meltdown about a rumour that ultimately is based on nothing. Rinse and repeat. Going after Wilder after one game is nothing.

There are no rules any more Ken! :D

It was very poor from start to finish, nowhere near enough creativity in midfield, I really don’t understand why Duffy was left out, it happened time and time again last season when he didn’t play, especially at home when teams sit back, we don’t have the guile to open teams up. None of the midfield got beyond the front two and Leon spent most of the game dropping deep to receive the ball. It was too predictable. The one thing that worried me slightly was wilder comments after the game, that he thought it was an okay performance and we had the better chances. I came away thinking the exact opposite.

Not so much of a meltdown by most but more of an observation on yesterday. There will always be some that go over the top. Wilder won’t get everything right and plenty thought he got the team selection wrong both before and after the game. Ultimately it was just one game though. It won’t define our season

And 24,500 for the first game of the season is fucking shite.
That's the embarrassing element.

Not bothered it was on Sky.
I get that Swansea only brought 1,000 (also pathetic for a "Prem" team when it's a 17:30 kick off) but that number is a shocker.

So what you’re saying is we’ve learnt sod all from last season.
What? That true pace is going to hurt us?
We saw that last season with games against Wolves away and Fulham H&A.

Pace AND control costs the top dollar.
You only get that if you're in the Prem or you spend like global warming is going to fuck everyone in three years time.

You said we got suckered 5 mins from time. This happened a few times last season, so it looks like we’re not learning from our mistakes.

I bet I can predict our first 6 games fairly accurately.

2 wins, 1 draw, 3 defeats. I’ll be amazed if we do better.

So we’re not learning from last season when we lacked pace and still require it. This season is going to be a long and hard one if CW doesn’t wake up.
I believe CW knows that all too well.
That sort of player, as I have already mentioned, commands the highest fees.
If CW could get one of those lads, I'm sure he would. He wanted to keep Brooks - someone who could travel (with the ball) at pace. Why do you think B'mouth paid the money?

Are you saying you want Wilder out?

Being critical of certain aspects of the manager's decision making doesn't equate to wanting him out. Some of the shortcomings out there were glaringly obvious and have been for a while. Wilder's a stubborn bugger so he'll change it around eventually, the question being when.

I feel silly too.

For expecting a competent performance from a shitcunt defence that kept fewer clean sheets than Burton Albion last season.

QPR next week. Long journey back.

In a way I hope the problem was/is Coutts' injury, but the timing of the decline in performance last season also pretty much co-incided with the severe deterioration in the relationship between the owners which doesn't look like being resolved any time soon (if the reported timings in the court case are correct). Fingers crossed that things get sorted on and off the pitch sharpish.
