I’ve put money on us to lose just twice this season. Newcastle and Man U . It was also just before the Newcastle match that I put a bet on for us to go all season without winning a game.

Needless to say I couldn’t get on the Sky Bet app quick enough at full time to put my fiver on Man City. 1/10 odds, but sod it. A fiver a game ‘til the end of the season is still cheaper than a season ticket would’ve been.

Anyway, in summary, you can praise Wilder all you like, but I think you’ll find that it’s me we have to thank for our upturn in form.
