But I hour after its announced DH Gate can get a printed and badged shirt to me in 8 days from China for £19.

Hate to say this but I’ve no idea why this kit is so popular. Black shoulders and arms on a blades shirt isn’t right to me. I always thought 19/20 was the nicest kit of the previous adidas era, not just because it was a great time, it just looked bang on for United to me.

Most on here have been saying Adidas for months.

Bettis in his Q&A a couple months back said - "were changing to a different supplier which many fans will be happy with the choice"... that's paraphrased.

Then you have the star writing articles like they have a scoop, despite Bettis telling us publicly weeks ago

The problem I find with United is tbey spend so fucking long dicking about with a cringey attempt at a super fancy reveal video (that also requires a teaser a week before it apparently) that by the time all other normal grown up clubs have posted their pictures we're just about receiving the first teaser video

Its a bloody United shirt it's hardly like the nation is on tenderhooks waiting to see ifthe new United kit has pin stripes or not. No one outside of our fan base ultimately cares. I would wager they know pretty much what the design is now as someone's already pointed out that next season isn't so far away and they'll need all this sorting well in advance.

Also I think black pin stripes and stripes down the back make the shirts look cheap and tacky. Not my thing at all but not enough for me to not buy it if I ended up liking it

Adidas produce some fantastic stuff if you're one of their elite clubs, see the recent icons range and the return of the trefoil on third kits. But we wont get that and the novelty of their mid range template offerings was exhausted during the 8 seasons we had with them, which wasn't long enough ago for more adidas now to feel exciting again. Should have gone back to Umbro or tried Hummel.
