Wilder confirming this am one more striker in to complete set, likely to be a loan and is an important signing

Wilder has confirmed it will be at least A loan this window up top, this points mostly at Brewster but havent OM just placed a loan with obligation bid for Dennis? - Wilder loves smoke and mirrors I know but I'm not writing this off just yet I dont think!
 
No one really has concrete proof that its any off the people we are all talking about yeah we might have spoken about the availability of said players with there clubs but who knows that we are definitely in for the said players as our last signing before the season starts, i am thinking that wilder and co are ready to sign a player that we didt even think or know about and that could be a game changer?

Id rather have Obafemi as one for the future if were going for a Soton striker tbh (Ings excluded obviously) . Wouldnt solve our striker needs for this season mind you.
 
Atalanta seem to have gone cold on signing Dennis. Honestly, who knows if we were ever in for him at all though.

Taking the fact this is from a newpaper claiming he's staying on face value, it seems if we're likely to land Brewster we get to leave Dennis until January or the summer, having already spoken to him and his representatives. We can see how he continues to progress in the next few months, stay in touch with him and if we're still interested we can move on him when he's closer to being into the last year of his contract which keeps his price down. Win/Win, with the only risk being someone else could come in if he does well, but we've got the inside track to that's upto us if we decide to go head to head.

This has got Berge 2.0 written all over it. We dont get him this window, everyone waits till next summer when he'd be cheaper we move first in January and get him. Exactly what happened with Berge last season.

We'll also know where Moose really is and if he's going to be a starting/bench option, or just someone we need to move on from. We will have also had a good look at Burke.
