OF COURSE if we dont get up with them get in players good enough to get us out
If we get out , what will we do , probably get rid of half anyway for better players as some will argue they arent good enough for the championship
we had to get rid of most of your other list as they were on wages we couldnt afford, like any club would thats relegated
ffjortoft how did he get in there , going back a bit
I really cannot believe that you maintain that if a team does not get promoted, every member of that team can be moved on and will not be missed. Every year when we’ve sold our best player they have been missed. If we still had McDonald and Maguire in this squad, we would have absolutely not need to move for Burn and Hammond.
If we still had Murphy, we wouldn’t have had to play the mediocre (being kind there) Woolford in the last 2 games. If we’d been able to keep Lowton, we wouldn’t have had to prat about with crap like McMahon, Westlake and Alcock at RB. If we’d kept Blackman we wouldn’t have had to endure Jonathan Forte up front. It’s ridiculous to suggest that players who were bought by clubs higher up the pyramid won’t be missed by a league 1 club on the grounds that that 1 player alone didn’t get the club promoted.
Are you seriously telling me we wouldn’at have a better chance of promotion if our team looked like this?
-------------------Howard
Lotwon-----Maguire—Edgar—Harris
Murphy----McDonald--Coady—Quinn
---------------Sharp—Blackman
Look at that midfield and compare it to ours and see if you can repeat your point with a straight face.
If a team fails to go up, they need to assess the weaknesses that prevented them from going up, not move on the players who almost got them up in spite of those weaknesses. Do you really think we could move on Brayford, Adams and Done if we don’t go up and bring in “better players who can get us up”?
I’m pretty sure we won’t find a better right back than John Brayford whilst we’re playing in this league.
