I was watching that Blades Ramble guy and he suggested Villa needs to sell someone for FFP. He suggested that would originally have been Coutinho but with his injury, Archer is the only one they've got a chance of raising funds from (the Villa fans on their forum are all convinced Archer has no place in Emery's plans after his 5m cameo the other day). Archer doesn't want to go the the Championship and if we're the only bidder he's willing to come to then it might exactly be "this is your last chance to sell him for much less than you want".

I know what you mean but millions was used as a metaphor hence the inverted commas. If someone said to me a PL side has spent millions on a player id assume it was much more than 5m but maybe that's just me.

I have been reading the up dates about this lad and to be honest I am not impressed . Milan cant wait to get shut and the fans are willing him to go as soon as possible . The fans are usually a decent guide to players and can not find one that want him to stay .

It's not an awful shout, given his Prem experience. He doesn't even need to bang in the goals, if he uses his size and physicality to harass Prem defenders and be a target up-top to play into for pace like Benie has shown, like Hamer. Even for McBurnie to bounce off...
