Be astonished if this is a goer but more than happy if it is.

This makes so much sense that Hecky Thump is chasing him, remember his No1 target was Akpom. This guy looks similar in build, drive, power, speed etc and anyone who thinks his record of 41 PL goals is poor look at Brewster, McB, Osula, Akpom, aarcher and there’s no contest. Why wouldn’t we?

Would definitely give the team a massive boost to have a striker who has scored goals in the premier league and has contributed significantly in his team winning the premier league and champions league

My only concern is if he’s that good why would Klopp let him out on loan?

22 premier league goals.

I think He went to ac milan for more game time as he wanted to be the starting striker somewhere but that never really materialised. Plus I think some players thrive much more being the bigger fish in a small pond rather than just being one of many good players at ac milan

Looks like there’s a distinct lack of rockets and rifles in these latest threads

Therefore the conclusion is, I can’t take any Origi and Pellistri signings seriously unless I see endless rockets and rifles

No rockets no signings.

Kinda doubtful Origi would see the move as a massive boost to his career.
He may be a useful extra player but the wider issue is whether the millions it's going to cost could be better spent on a longer-term, younger and almost certainly hungrier player.

The thing I love most about this highlight real is that buried in amongst seeing him play infront of big crowds at massive stadiums there is one clip at 2:37 where he appears to be playing for a pub team down at a local park with a few small trees behind the goal.
Throw the one in from training to boost up the numbers 😆

Anyone against this signing is simply nuts.
Has everything we miss in the team, scores with head, left and right foot very strongly.
Pace, strength….he has everything.

Looks like he just needs to be loved and made the main man at a club.
Calling it now…if…and it’s a huge if as I honestly do t believe for a minute we are realistically in for him….but if he comes her and stays fit he will get 10-15 goals for us in his own….and likely get us 5- 10 assists.

He would be that good for us.

Edit- what a player he would have been with Ndiaye

I admire your optimism.

They’ll probably come to cart you off any moment, but at least you’ll be smiling!

😆

I've consulted my Liverpool supporting mate, who describes him as...Great instinctive finisher, pacey and strong, if you create him chances he'll score and reckons he'll bang in double figures given a season.

Heard exact same from my scouser cousin. He was gutted that he left Liverpool in the first place. Described him as a really good character with his head screwed on n all. Would love to have him even for just a season. ⚔️

What did he say about Rhian?

Rockets and Rifles sounds like the name of a group that ultimately spawned Guns N Roses. Lead singer Tracii Rockets and guitarist Lexxi Rifles started the band in 1983, playing the famous Whisky a go go club. Both were ultimately replaced by Slash and Axl, and the rest is history.
