Not for me.

Doubt we'd want to pay the loan fee even if we could and zero chance on signing him.

Plus he may well not want to come anyway.

Throw in rumours of him being a bit Billy Big Bollocks at Forest and I think he's past not future.

He's another one of the possible loans we can't afford to risk due to injury doubt. He has never ending problems

Staying at Man U has ruined him. His choice. At least he's made lots of money for doing very little. But he's not undisputed England number 1 as he should be and probably never will be

We'd have to pay his full wages (£5 million) plus a hefty loan fee so that's £10 million to loan someone for a year with a poor injury record.

We should be looking to buy someone for significantly less.

Watched Everton v Leicester the other night and Iversen was immense for Leicester. He’s currently back up I think and playing due to an injury to Ward? I’d be more then happy with him and if he’s claimed the No1 then Ward is equally as good

Just looked and it seems he’s taken over as No1.

With the limited number of loan spots available, if we are strengthening at keeper then it really needs to be done permanently - either by picking up a veteran free agent, or someone up and coming from lower down the leagues.

I have feeling he might be back here next season. To be released by Manure, would be a starter which is what he needs if he wants to play for England. Doubt the big clubs want him with many alternatives out there. Injury prone maybe, still a good young keeper. Wouldn't be upset if he came here.

Why are Man Utd releasing him?

If he is released then it would make a lot of sense as he’d be a big asset. If they’re wanting a fee it’s likely too rich for our blood and would take up a big chunk of the budget.

No way they would release him. He still has value.

I agree he’s still a multi million pound player easily. Only thing that might make them release him is if the dressing room situation with him really is that bad and he was one of the ones leaking stuff out.

There is quite some difference between being made for transfer and released, especially when the player is worth £30m+ and is on £120k/week. Even Man Utd aren't that stupid.

He'll end up at Spurs.

Agreed.

And Morgan Gibbs White can fuck right off as well.
The difference between henderson and gibbs white is that Henderson wasnt actually there in that play off game. I’m not really that arsed that he’s gone there tbh and I also think Henderson had way more of an affinity with United than Gibbs white ever had. He was also a much bigger influence on us as a club too.

Gibbs white was there, on the pitch whilst one of his then team mates got head butted by one of their fans. Then signed for them amid a backdrop of every single person associated with Forest trying to drag our club through the shit. I really hope that we dont do one of those forced, welcome back things when we play them next season. Cant think of any former player less deserving of it.

30million?

He's been injured for the best part of 2 seasons. Closer to 3 mill than 30m and I like Hendo.

I'd love to have him back if we could afford him but he's on his way to Forest

I can understand Man Utd wanting to let him go - but to see their fans or people on podcasts saying Henderson will fetch £30mil surely has to be ridiculous considering how little football he's played since he left us, and what he has played wasn't consistent?

If i were Spurs, i'd be looking at Hendo, Maguire & DVdB as makeweights in a deal for Kane, i'd also try and get Martial in the deal as well.

Would have absolutely loved him back once upon a time. Not anymore. He'll likely command wages we can't afford, plus I cant stand to see the sight of him in a Forest shirt. He's damaged goods now.

It will be a silly transfer fee based on him being English, it’s ridiculous really.

Couldn't agree more re Gibbs-White - I just hope we don't acknowledge him at all when he plays against us next season. No booing or anything, just silence would be better to let him know how insignificant he is to us. Booing might just spur him on more.
