Just reported in the news bulletin on Talksport Radio.

‘Manchester United highly rated goalkeeper Dean Henderson is returning back to Sheffield United on a season long loan”

They didn’t use the words “we believe that” or “it’s been reported that”, the news bulletin gave the above as FACT.

It’s gone on longer than Coronation Street this...

Now, now HG, you have to be patient.
It's ok if he arrives on the 8th August because he'll have a full 2 days to prepare. After all he's only a goalkeeper and we're not really gonna need one of them with our Championship signings.

Yes, are you
You accuse somebody of being impatient when you haven't even seen or heard a word from me about the subject previously
If we cant start to get impatient now when can we ?
You have expressed impatience in the last couple of days with very strong wording. You then claim to have been patient when it looks like the deal is done because, in your mind, you made it to a cut-off point after which it is alright to be impatient. Not only that, you have been unable to post for a month and it's stretching belief to think that it was only 2 days ago that you ran out of patience. Especially with comments like "We've wasted 10 weeks of our time chasing this when we should have just gone elsewhere", which suggests you wouldn't have waited at all.
You have been impatient, it's here in black and white. You can't claim to be a part of a group of fans who've been "very patient". I don't know why you're denying being impatient.

As for being proud of my posts, generally yes. I'm not childish, don't troll, am careful not to insult people or demean people (hard though that occasionally is in the middle of a heated argument), try to be respectful to others, the forum owners by following their rules and guidelines, other posters (as much as their own behaviour allows!), the club and those at the club, try to make some kind of contribution with my posts..... you?

The management team and the players are magnificent. The club (owners/directors) are shit

Well that attempt at clarifying is quite the backtrack from the initial comment. The club is not the owners/directors alone, it’s them, the management, players, staff, and fans, the whole thing. Wilder himself said in the last few weeks that the owners are not the club and the club will be around long after they’ve moved on.

TPS, when you first started posting lots on here thought you were a pig, I wasn't sure but eventually decided you probably were, I, like most then realised no, you ain't and apologise, however why do you want to make life sooooo difficult for yourself, I get the impression you don't have many/any mates, haven't heard from you for a while then this, why? I speak as a friend of course 😇

Thanks for your concerns BB. And no need to apologise, if people think I support that shower I don't really care, it's water off a ducks back.
They use it as personal abuse, they dont really believe it themselves but some of them can't think of anything else to say. So they just blurt out PIG.

I have lots of friends but not many are United fans, and theres basically no Wendies either, so I don't get the constant discussions about Sheffield football and the constant defending United against them.
Coming from an Irish family 99% of my family living over there support the Man U's, The Arsenal and Liverpool's and Celtic, those that live over here never really picked up on watching United or Wendy because they're shit as far as they're concerned.

More’s the point, aren’t you remotely embarrassed that your postings about your own club leave so many with the impression that you could be pork?

Stop trying to twist things
You know what I mean
When I slag the club it's the owners and directors, it's been said often enough.

There's never been a bad word about Wilder or any other manager except Blackwell who was the worst footballing dinosaur that theres ever been in football. Even Adkins escaped without a bad word from me.

I also dont target and scapegoat individual players.

The club = Directors and owners, perhaps I'll make it clearer in future posts

JJ aka topplayer wasn't embarrassed about his disgraceful post after the Millwall home game,so I very much doubt he is.

Wilder said worse than I did
It worked didn't it, they didn't bottle it again
They dropped points against Millwall by losing their bottle, their nerves got the better of them and they stopped what they were doing and dropped deeper and deeper.
That's just a true statement, so I dont know why you are so offended by it

This is why I hate plastic fans, whether they come from Sheffield, Ireland or anywhere. They support a team which is good at the time. For me football isn’t about that. I have always guestimated that sheffield is split into 3rds with United, Wednesday and plastics. If that was 50:50 with no plastics sheffield football could be significantly stronger.

I hate plastics more than I hate Wednesday fans, I have no time for them whatsoever.

Football isn’t about winning

They support teams that are easy to travel to watch, and a team that captures their imagination by winning things.

But they made their choices 50-60 years ago just like we did and are every bit as fanatical about their team as we are, probably even more so.

I'm not sure where you derive from my post that I'm blaming anyone

We should have walked away the minute he went looking for a new Man Utd contract.

I've said that from day one and said practically nothing else about it until now. The impatience has come in the last few days because we simply can't wait any longer

Why should him looking for a new deal at his parent club mean we walk away? Because it will cost us more?

If you were in his position, I presume you'd say.."nah hang off on that extra 1m a year, I'd like to save Sheff U some cash".
