It is there for everyone to see i want to see the free flowing attacking football before the lockdown that we played.

Not this negative sit back and try and nick the game tactics it is awful the attacking stats from the last 7 games make horrid reading.

I'm not in ITK at all but the guy who wrote the comment seemed really confident.

If he doesn’t he doesn’t. There’s no room for sentiment and there’s no question that Brooks is a better player than Fleck. Fleck could play the left holding midfield role if he performs better than Ampadu anyway.

I'm not for a second saying Fleck should be selected regardless. However, the formation change you're promoting (which CW hasn't played for over a season and I'm not convinced about Brooks as a #10) would essentially make Fleck's role redundant

Just to clarify, I wasn’t one advocating any particular formation, but I just think if a player of Brooks’s quality becomes available to us, and it addresses our biggest flaw (lack of creativity), we have to make it happen. The formation should accommodate our best players. Play to the squad’s strengths. Whether it’s Fleck (I’d personally drop McGoldrick to play Brooks) or anyone else that loses their place, it will be because it strengthens us as a team, which I’m all for. We currently don’t have any players that are above being dropped or replaced, if the right players become available. If better players come in and it means we need to change formation, so be it.

He's certainly not been at his best but I'd still select him over Osborn - a mid three including him and Lundstram simply isn't good enough and doesn't provide anywhere near enough of a goal threat

It’s one of those situations where the statistics and what I’m seeing perfectly align. I’ve cringed watching us at times thus far. We look a League One side going forward, never mind Championship.

it’s worth remembering that when we last played this formation with 2 and the No. 10, fleck played, so I don’t see why he couldn’t go back to it he’d just have to compete with Ampadu and Osborn for the position

Ampadu and Berge both being right-footers doesn't fit CW's strong preference for natural balance.
If he was less bothered about it then surely Ampadu would have started at LCB over Robinson today

true, I wasn’t advocating Ampadu to play on the left side particularly more pointing out the comments that fleck wouldn’t have a place in that formation don’t take into account that he’s already played there

So let me get this straight. We’ve got rid of Freeman because we don’t have a place in the team for him in that position, and yet we’re going to then change our formation to accommodate a player on loan who has question marks over fitness?

I’d love to see us go a bit more attacking and make some more chances but I just don’t see this happening, soz.

Maybe JOC’s injury has changed Wilders mind. Play with a number 10 and less overlapping CB’s.

I agree. Think we might get someone in January if we're in a relegation scrap. Hope I'm wrong though

He said it exactly as if it would be about the Premier League 25, I didn’t get any indication it would be someone like Norwood.
