Maybe he wants to return to the ground he scored his first professional senior goal?
 
Ridiculous wage demands I’m sure. There has to be other options we should all consider
 
Whenever I`ve seen Sturridge he seems to play more for himself than the team. He doesn`t choose the best option often enough when he has the ball.
 
He'd be a top signing for us.

Being linked with Villa(!) and Marseille. Currently at Trabzonspor where he's done well.

Could be better than that. I feel we'd get a lot out of him and give him a last good performance spell in the PL.

Don't think he's too much of a cunt. But it would depend if he wants it. And wages.

Could work well with Mousset. With him, it's always fitness. Ability is undoubted.

Would be an interesting one to process through CW's 'knobhead test' as well as a thorough medical/fitness test

Perhaps having to move to Turkey to secure a contract has brought him back down to earth a bit.

As a player, he's quick, able to create chances and can finish - depending on what is really going to happen (if anything) with Robinson and Sharp, he could just be a gem for a 6-18 month contract. That all said, he does strike me as more of a Villa signing.

Not for me. He`s not a team player. Chooses the individual rather than the team option most of the time.

I will reserve judgement till the boss decides if he want him or not .is he better than what we have not sure but he was class a few years ago
 
Wesley is out for the season so I expect Villa are pushing most to sign Sturridge plus they don't mind pissing money up the wall either.
 

If he can stay healthy, he would be a huge plus for almost any PL team. I would love to give him a shot with us, but Villa will probably offer silly wages.
