He's a talent for sure, but can he control a game and make passes like duffy?

I agree he can’t at the moment as he’s in hospital. When he’s sorted though he’s a more than ample back up for Duffy with the added benefit of playing up top as well if needed.

Leonard (25 year old) - 3 1/2 year deal
Evans (23 year old) - 3 1/2 year deal
Wilson (22 year old) - Loan

We'll probably flog the family silver now, but these three are all young, pacey and exciting players.

Can't say that we've not added to what we have already.

What else do we need?

Been fuming about this utter bollocks since the misfortune of seeing it yesterday.
So much stupidity I won't waste my words on the #TaxExile #AssetStripper who has left the football club literally not owning a pot to piss in.
So to quote CW and James Shield over a couple of days.

1. On Hanson "
"I've got to look after James, he knows it's a good move for him and I've also got to make sure we're in the best possible position to move for our targets when they become available."

2. On Clarke - CW 'half what he could get elsewhere'
repeat on Duffy talks:-

"We are not handing out contracts, they are precious, but everyone recognises Duffy has had an outstanding first part of the season. He needs rewarding. We are way below paying players the average Championship wage, that’s a fact."

3. "The fact he has spent the best part of eight months trying to secure Ryan Leonard’s release from Southend speaks volumes about Chris Wilder’s transfer budget.

Can you imagine Aston Villa, Bristol City or any of Championship’s other leading teams struggling to sign a League One player whose contract expires shortly? No, I didn’t think so."

4. "Whether or not that includes a run in the cup, which United enter at the third round stage, could depend upon United’s activity during this month’s transfer window. Fortunately Wilder, whose attempts to bolster their options are being hampered by finance, has a proven track record of delivering big results on a meagre budget as Clarke’s performances demonstrate."

5. Whiteman
"Ben leaves with our best wishes and we hope he picks up from where he left off at Doncaster.
It would be tough for him to get into our side at present given the strength we have in that area of the team, but should Ben's career progress as we think it could, then, as a club, we've covered ourselves for the future in terms of a sell-on."

Needed to get this 'said' before tonight!

Not sure what your point is?

Just wondering how long it will be before the title of your post has the 'b' in the word 'backed' replaced with an 's'?

Why? The Agenda has no limitation of time. Other people’s money is always available.

He's no longer a tax exile.

Maybe Wilder really want Leonard?

We've shown further lack of support for CW by signing Holmes today.

Apparently he had a medical this morning although I wouldn't expect them to release the news on derby day.

I always take note when people use the word ‘literally’ because what they go on to say thereafter is literally always anything but...

In the same way that people say 'alluded to' when someone had directly referred to the matter.

We need a replacement for CCV, he makes to many mistakes for me. Loan out carruthers to someone top of league one to get him some experience, sell him if he's still shite.
