Huddersfield fans are claiming that this has been emailed to them and it will be confirmed on their official site at 3.45.

[CONFIRMED]Naysmith has signed for...

..................................Huddersfield

Gutted if Im honest!

Apparantly, (cos I keep thinking this is a wind up) it will be officially announced later.

They've signed Joey Gudjohnsson and he reckons he signed because they are are showing ambition! Well if true, they could be div 1 champ candidates next season

Just looked on their o/s and they say they are set to announce their next signing this afternoon.

We'll see! :(

I remember seeing these rumours floating round a few months ago. Can't say I ever thought there was anything in them back then, but that does look a bit disconcerting...

If this is true, then I would be seriously peed off. It means that our policy of driving down our wages is not going to work, well not in the sense that we will be serious challengers for promotion. I did not know that Huddersfield have a big backer, becuae if they haven't then it shows they have more ambition than us. This will take some explaining by the Board.

He's joined on a two-year deal.

I wonder if our OS will put this and Kenny deal on?? There's 2 players we have stood by through injury and drug ban respectively.

Surely they can not offer more money than us??? A longer deal perhaps?

He had more than our offer to choose from too, in the SPL and Championship, so I can only assume it's the terms or money.

Why else would a player of Naysmith's stature drop to League One at this stage in his career? (unless his injury has affected him more than we know)

There's serious problems if we can't compete with Huddersfield. Its like being back in the 90's when we lost Smith and Bruce to them. At least they were in the same division then!

FFS. Now we're losing players to Huddersfield.

Can't wait for another year of Taylor and Stewart battling for that position.

I'm one of few that try to remain optimistic on here but I'm finding it very difficult to remain that way at the moment.

... and look where their "ambition" took them? ;)

What's the matter with you all?
It's only June FFS. Most clubs will be waiting to see what's what etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc...

I'm with Peter Ndlovu on this. I won't believe either Kenny or Naysmith have gone until I read it on our official site ;)

I won't even believe it then.

And that's me in the angry side.

If HUDDERSFIELD have more money to spend on a player's wages than us, there's something wrong.

Actually, I refuse to believe they do. We signed Monty and Morgs to long term contracts when they obviously would have been liable for big money elsewhere, and we're not paying pennies for Bogdanovic.

So, this leads me to believe that we've cocked things up massively by not working hard to keep Naysmith on.

If we have to put up with Taylor and Stewart in that position next season I may cry.

Huddersfield chairman (Dean Hoyle?) has plenty of money, he's splashing loads at Huddersfield. They'll have offered him more than we can afford. Sounds absurd but it'll be true.

Looking more and more as if next season is going to be a struggle to stay up. Probably why they were determined to hang on to the real battlers in Morgs and Monty to try to keep us out of the bottom three.

Looks like it may be the two year contract that did it.

I'm still not worriedly tying a noose, but I'll certainly be listening to Len, Mic and Rev with less cynicism...
