Thanks, I'll give this a listen. Any podcast over an hour long had better be good!

Cheers. Never listen to his podcast because even just his voice winds me up. But that was a decent listen, to see the mighty blades are getting noticed.

“Sheffield United are the most impressive team I’ve watched in the Premier League bar Man City”

“I’m so impressed with Wilder and what he’s done, I underestimated him”

“#ShitPunditry”

“Premier League football is something Sheffield fans should be very excited about”

“Beautiful patterns of play, clearly that they know work”

Funny thing is that I’d say that we’ve not been anywhere near as good as we can be. Yes we’ve faced tougher opposition, so we need to adjust more. But I think we’ve played a smash and grab mentality, so far (similar to against Leeds last season)

So the beautiful patterns of play have been limited.

Are we the most impressive or the most surprising to those that haven’t researched us?

The best is yet to come from us that’s for sure 👍

I suspect its a way of saying 'how wrong were we'? 😂

I don’t want to say we’re playing with fear, but perhaps it’s caution. So important to get points on the board and Wilder clearly doesn’t want to fuck things up/ be off the pace early so perhaps he’s been very cautious in the approach not to lose

There has certainly been so much hype about this division but the two decent sides we’ve played haven’t really been a big threat to us.

I know there’s a huge gap between the top 6 sides and the middle 10, we’ve been told this, we’ve also been told were shite and will go down and Wilder has also made big points about this being a tough league and expecting a few big defeats

All that said, we’re doing alright so far, Leicester will be a step up and can’t wait to face them.

10 games/ end of sept is normally when the league settles down... but so far we’ve done everything right

To be fair to Colleymore he does explain that he’s played in the PL and is job is PL punditry, so be admits to rarely watching any Championship football.
He also admits that some pundits have been lazy, thinking they’re all British players, so can’t be technically any good compared to foreigners.
And Chris Wilder is a Sheffielder, so must be Neil Warnock Mark 2.

Also agree with the other comments, we have played any where near our best yet and have been very cautious in the first 2 matches.
